Tracking with the CSX automated phone system, mine has fortunately been making it's way to the West Coast in a pretty timely manner.

As of calling right now CSX says it's somewhere in Nevada. So just one state away.

I've been trying to call the Union Pacific automated system for a week since that will give the ETA, but the voice recognition is so terrible and never gets my voice entry correct for the letters. Tried on speaker, off speaker, on headset. No dice...

Me: CTTX
Automated Phone: "I heard CCBX. I can't find that car. Please say....."
Me: CTTX
Automated Phone: "I heard CCTX. I can't find that car. Please say....."
Me: *hangs up*

Enunciate like you're taking to a foreigner. Slow and methodically. Make sure your Cs don't sound like Ts or Bs.

Blue Island is good. Should be your last stop in IL. Mine started to scoot after Blue Island. Pretty soon you'll be calling every 30 mins just to hear a different location.

Do you have a railcar number? Tracing that way is more accurate.

From Clearing it should go to Indiana (don't try to make sense of this!) and then back to Illinois and then off to California. You still have a few more days in the Chicagoland area as they switch things around.

For those who have taken delivery now, what were wait times like from unloading at Rail Yard to arriving at Dealer? Going on about 5 days for me today… starting to get a little concerned. In Dixiana, SC right now waiting to get up to Charlotte, NC. Just under a couple hours away.

I'm at 18 days and counting...destination is 2.5 hours from the rail yard.

For those who have taken delivery now, what were wait times like from unloading at Rail Yard to arriving at Dealer? Going on about 5 days for me today… starting to get a little concerned. In Dixiana, SC right now waiting to get up to Charlotte, NC. Just under a couple hours away.

FWIW, My dealer is telling me 90% of their recent deliveries don’t arrive at their dealership until 7-10 days after the vehicles reach the rail yard in St. Paul MN 20 miles away. Obviously there is a back up at this rail yard as when I took delivery on my first Bronco in April of 2022, it arrived at the dealer 3 days after reaching the St. Paul rail yard.

So I got my baby pic on 1/10 with a change of delivery estimate from 1/3 - 1/9 to 1/26 - 2/1. First time I was pushed out more than a week so I thought maybe this will be more accurate. However, as of last night the back door link is showing that delivery estimate has moved up to 1/13 - 1/19. Cruel joke or a bit of good luck? I haven't even attempted to track the rail given the delays people have seen while tracking. Figure at this point I'd rather just be surprised.

My train rolled into St. Paul yesterday on the way to the West coast. More Broncos no doubt dropped off to sit for a while.
