Based on that price... I'm glad I ordered it as an option on my build.

Been using my Diabolical one for a couple months now and it works great. Simple bolt on into factory location.

I’m surprised the Diabolical is less. Their stuff isn’t cheap. I have their security enclosure. Does this make any rattle noises?

I'd be interested to see what one looks like that also has a tailgate table installed. Would the two together be totally pointless?

I feel like the main appeal to the this one is just having the retro look and a tailgate to sit on like the good ol days.
IMO it was big miss the Gen6 didn’t come with a tailgate. Ford should have just figured out another location for the spare. My first ride was a 98 Ranger and I spend a ton of time sitting on that tailgate. Great truck and great memories. Happy I won’t need to pack the folding chairs for my Bronco now!

The Ford one is nice but it is basically only a tailgate. This one is way more useful when accessing your cargo. Especially with the soft top.

I love it. But it doesn’t go with my interior. :)
I like the idea of a flat floor but I have like 15 old AT&T phone books that would accomplish the same thing…

I have their security enclosure too but haven't set it up yet. It does rattle a little. Quality is great!

I think the 20% sale is limited to parts under $1,000, before the 20% is taken off.

I built this a year ago and have camped on it 7-8 times. Works like a charm and came in at slightly over $100, mainly due to cost of heavy duty drawer slides. And I kept access to the stow away cubby & Jack, although maybe Fords version does too.

I'd love some details about the drawer slides you used. Did you use any hinge or just carpet?
