When I spoke with Ford Marketing yesterday they gave me information on two different certificates. One is called the Price Incentive Certificate. For me that has a value of $825 and it will expire on 12/31/22. There is also a "Transition Private Offer Certificate" which is the "price protection" we've been talking about for a long time. For me that is worth $3620 which tracks with the price protection flow chart. That certificate is set to expire on 1/3/23. The Ford Marketing person said Ford "might extend it" but told me to immediately email the certificate numbers and amounts to my dealership so they have it on file.

I'm worried because I have no clue where my Bronco is. I have a build date of 12/1 and a shipped date of 12/2 but no rail info or anything else. The other bit of information the Ford Marketing person told me was that they were trying out a new tracking system and that system was telling her my ETA was specifically for 1/2/23. The regular tracking system is giving an ETA of 12/30/22 - 1/5/23. But all those dates could be complete bullshit and are subject to change.
I am so thankful for everyone on this thread. I had @jason9m9 DM to explain the difference. I think I saw this info a while back but it's been so long that I forgot.

I spoke to marketing and they gave me my certificate and told me the same info you've stated. In addition I just called my sales guy and he said 😅 Ford should be issuing a new certificate soon 🤞

Same here. Found out the "two" certificates are actually bundled together, and mine expire on Dec 31. Currently the rep isn't showing that a new one has or will be issued. Instead, they're punting it off to the dealership, suggesting I give them the certificate number and see if they have a "work-around" to apply it. I said, "wouldn't that directive come from Ford?" She also mentioned that my Bronco has been off-loaded at the final rail stop, waiting for a car carrier to take it the last 2.5 hours to the dealership. She said that some dealerships are arranging to pick up the Broncos so they get them earlier. "Logic" here is that if my dealership can get my Bronco in the next two days they can write up my sales contract before the 31 and include the price protection. I was conscious not to take out my frustration on the rep, but even she had to admit this is ridiculous. Preparing for a battle if the price protection isn't applied... has me thinking of Russell Crowe's line in Gladiator... "at my signal, unleash hell."

**UPDATE** Spoke to yet another Ford Marketing Rep today (12/30). Per Walter, Ford will honor the certificate even though it has expired. HOWEVER, he said the decision to apply any certificate is up to the dealer. So that's why we see some people getting price protection and others saying their dealers won't honor it. And of the dealers that do honor it, some take it off the price of the vehicle while others send a rebate check after being reimbursed by Ford. It's quite a mess, with Ford punting the final decision off to the dealerships as "independent retailers." Best advice is to get your certificate number from Ford Marketing and send that to your dealership so they have it on record and will hopefully do the right thing when our Broncos finally arrive. Good luck All!

So called chat today for any updates. Nothing has changed of course. My Bronco is still sitting in Michigan, shipped 12/3/22. I expressed my disappointment with how this is all playing out. I was given a number for the New Vehicle Support Team. 1-800-334-4375. Said they would have more details on why it’s still in Michigan. What a joke…I was told the exact thing chat told me. They have no idea why it’s still there, but check back in a week for any update. 😡

I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but with MAP shutdown for the holidays are they still shipping out built Broncos during this time? Build date of 11/30 and still awaiting shipment, no built email, baby pic or estimated delivery emails. I show on backdoor link EDD of 12/30-1/5, however still awaiting shipment all the way down to TX.

Has anyone received a shipped notification since the shutdown on 12/21?

I received an email on the 28th informing me that my original delivery date was pushed back, so they were at least sending emails. I’m not sure whether or not they were still shipping out actual trucks though.

I can’t figure out whether I’m jealous of you rail shipment folks, with all your fancy tracking info to feast on and ponder over. Or, if I’m glad that mine is shipping via convoy and that I’ll get a notice from Ford that it has shipped sometime during my 4th or 5th tank of gas.
I have to say I'm jealous of your convoy, These damn trains don't know what the hell they are doing.

Well. Let me tell you what “my” convoy is doing: delivering other people’s trucks.

I wonder if there is a time frame for when a new car isn't considered new anymore because it's been sitting in a field for months. Humm...

Built 11/30. No emails/updates on anything (not even built). Bumped to 12/30 - 01/05 delivery. Pretty sure that's impossible. Prove me wrong Ford!

Hang in there everyone! Just spoke with my dealer, Bronco was offloaded at the rail yard in Tampa and is pending delivery to the dealer in St. Pete. Can take up to a week or more in most cases and they have no control over it so no sweat on our end, will likely pick it up next week.

Confirmed price protection does not end Dec 31 and we are covered for $2595 which is already accounted for on our proposal.

But did your tracker ever move into shipped status, did you receive an email letting you know it shipped, or are you still in awaiting shipment status and your dealer told you that?

I did receive a shipped email, I was prepared though to never receive any information based on other peoples experiences I had read. Seems very inconsistent as to what everyone’s experience is and that’s on Ford for sure. My personal experience with the dealer has been excellent thus far so I feel lucky for that if nothing else.

One of my best friends was a reservation holder and when his Bronco arrived to the dealer a few months ago, it was missing the Sasquatch package he ordered so I know things could be worse.

I spoke to a salesperson in my dealership. She told me that there is a person who scans the vehicles at the rail yard. This is how we get the new dates that are complete BS. E.g. my first tentative was 12/21 - 12/27, then the vehicle was scanned, and my new tentative is 12/30 - 1/5. it's an automated process. The next update should be when it goes to rail; it will be scanned then the railcar will be uploaded so Ford can send it to the dealers. When My car gets scanned again, it will be another week away. I am in Virginia - She said when it hits the rail, it's about three weeks. I will start looking at used TESLA model Y's..... with the prices coming down, at least I can save on gas.

You’d think after the first couple times someone scans one then at the plant they’d be like hmm this one has been here awhile wonder why it hasn’t moved yet.
