Hope is sticks to the ETA. That's exciting!I received the railcar info from my dealer. So obviously I moved to the railcar tracking portion of this journey.It actually shipped and is in the Chicago clearing yard.
Just noticed the Ford Pass app now also reflects my Bronco accurately. (Prior to today, it didn't have a picture at all.)I noticed the Ford Pass app shows my new Bronco with the correct color and even roof rails. It has an activate button. I want to press it but fear that it might cause some issues when the dealer tries to prep.
On the other hand if I press I wonder if I can track its GPS location

I've heard to many stories about people finally getting a "built" email when their bronco was actually arriving at the dealership.I emailed the dealer this morning and he sent me back a screenshot with the railcar number, ship date, eta, etc.I wonder if mine is on that train.
Yeah. But you received a shipped email already and your status in the tracker is on "build". I havent had any of those things happen yet unfortunately. But yet we have the same ETA date. I wonder if I'll get that stuff midway through shipping like some people.
I went ahead and reached out to my dealer (Bob Tomes in McKinney) just now to see if they can provide any additional information on my current status. I'm in the same boat --- no email and tracker status still on "In Production" yet I've been told (via chat) it's built and given an ETA date. We'll see.
It doesn't make any sense. Hopefully yours riding the rails with mine right now and it's just all a glitch in the system.
Yeah me 2. I can wait a little longer if need be. But I do wish they would be a little more accurate and consistent with their communications. Definitely the biggest flaw with this whole process.
Yeah I just spoke to a Ford Customer Service rep on the phone and she gave me the same date. I told her that sounds highly unlikely and then the switched her answer to "it could possibly come a week after". She also said if I don't receive any updates January 1st to give them a call back. But they are well aware that email/updates get sent out late.
I don't quite understand how Ford's internal systems are so messed up. Two vehicles going down the assembly line on the same day can have different communication experiences. Crazy.
