First to market ups the cost as well. With the lack of speakers in the Bronco, this really isn’t that expensive

MTI Acoustics had a set for $500, now they have dropped the price to $350. So, $199 seems like a good deal to me.

I have a 2 door as well, i'm curious what exactly the differences are. Does anyone know if its a difference to how they mount to the roof bar or a difference to how they mount to the C pillar.

They did confirm it works with 2 or 4 door models. I ordered a set the other day, so we will see how it goes!

You'll either need an amp with built-in DSP (like the Kicker Key 200.4) or modify the factory EQ curve with Forscan to get the most out of the rear speaker locations.

I am also in the same boat and interested to know if there is any major improvement in comparison as I have the factory B&O amp with upgraded Focal ACX-100 (No bass blockers) currently in my rear pods with sound deadener and padding.

Would putting in 6.5" with B&O amp in rear pods require change in FORSCAN?

This is a key benefit IMO, but I can't understand where they would mount in this enclosure.
Anyone have a clue?

@LiftedPony, looks like these completely replace the stock enclosures using the same wiring. A FORScan change would not be required to use these pods but would be advantageous with the better frequency response of a 6.5" versus the 4". Completely guessing here but unless you amplify them you won't see a significant benefit over the 4" where it matters against your current upgrades.

I think some tweeters can be surface mounted and these being larger than the SSV ones, could mean you could place them on the same housing...

Or, you could always move the tweeter somewhere else.

I'm just going off the pictures in the listing (link above). However, you may want to wait until someone physically has them and can see if something could be surface mounted, or a hole drilled.

The two-door version does not need a month, about 15 days, only the mounting brackets are different, and the speaker pods are exactly the same
