We are still in process of testing some of our accessories and will release more fitment data as we go along.
How has your testing gone for there only being 2 threaded holes and in cast aluminum at that???

Cast aluminum has some great properties, but having the most robust threads in them isn't one and you will have 20+ pounds bouncing around on those two threaded holes.

Second question is the use of hardened steel roll pins in a cast aluminum housing, did you replace the roll pins with your own 11 Herbs & Spice Girls to combat galling out the pin holes?

Very interested in the product, but auxiliary fuel storage and long-term materials durability are concerns.

I would buy one. The Rough Country brace I have isn't really cutting it. I am still getting noise from the tailgate flexing. It drives me insane.

Does anyone make longer or adjustable length bump stops for the tailgate? I am referring to the two lower bumpers that are supposed to make contact with the tire. With everyone using different backspacing it seems like you'd need options right?

Looks great! Hopefully there will be more holes added to mount stuff. Two holes is not enough.

IAG Tailgate Hinge System and Reinforcement

Strength You Can Count On

Larger wheels and tires can put additional stress on your Bronco's tailgate, especially when off-roading. Add gear storage and tables and the weight really adds up. Most other tailgate reinforcements on the market simply bolt to the rear of the tailgate and help to distribute the load of a larger wheel to the hinges. Our Tailgate Reinforcement takes that a step further. Not only are we supporting the tailgate itself to stop flexing and shaking by transferring the load into the hinges, we are completely replacing the entire OEM hinge assembly to address the next weakest point in the system. Made of solid cast aluminum, our Tailgate reinforcement is HEAVY-DUTY. The support is designed to seamlessly integrate with the vehicle's existing design, enhancing its overall aesthetic without detracting from its rugged, off-road appearance. Two threaded holes offer mounting points for jerry cans, jacks, antennas, or any number of accessories. We are shooting for a late January 2023 release date and have a target price of $599. As we usually do, the Tailgate Reinforcement with Upgraded Hinge Assembly will likely be offered at an introductory price of $499.

We would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and questions!

Have your side steps on my Bronco and I love them. If this Tailgate reinforcement is the same qaulity as your steps I am in for sure!

What's the impact to the tire mount for other accessories added there? Any additional thickness? I see the notched top. Considering relocation, reinforcement, and onboard air all bolt to the same area, just thinking ahead.

This looks great. I'm having a hard time telling what color it is with the light and reflections in the photos? For me I'd prefer it to be as close to black as possible.

Because the bolts are in massive holes - it looks hollow.
Becasue it looks hollow, it looks like fake structure, in the same way a plastic sticker hood scoop is fake.
*not for me thank you!
