Can’t wait to see the results! I just finished my 37” conversion. I’m also keeping stock Sasquatch suspension and wheels. I used 1.25” spacers, a 1.5” body lift and cut off crash bar mounts. So far so good, it passed the flex ramp with flying colors.

Very nice. My BaseSquatch is getting the zone 3” adventure lift in a couple days and I’ll be slapping 37’s on my Sas wheels with 1.5” spacers. Can’t wait.

So final results offset needed was 1in spacer.

Thats 25mm so being the Factory offset is 30mm 30-25= 5mm offset

0 offset personally should be fine I would say 15mm to 0.

I thought the stock sas wheels had a+35mm offset. This is the reason I’m going with 1.5” spacers for 37s. The poke should be a wash.

Hey, what was the thought process on going from 37" tires to 38-39" vs going to 40" tires?

Just curious... that's my next step. Tires, wheels n lift.

Simply put 40s will 100% require you to lift outside of the finder well. I love the look of my tires being tucked in the finder well and its a true daily driver. And in my house a happy wife is a happy life. 6in of lift wasn't going to go over well. I added 1 3/8 lift to front and 1in in the back plus the bigger tire. I also have a friend on 40s on his jeep personally its just too much tire it just doesn't look good to me. Those 39s would have came in closer to a 38 so really the idea was 38s.

I would like to know your thoughts after reading?

As far as the house.... I hear it regularly, it's tough getting in. I'm still waiting for the AMP power steps. LOL

I have not researched parts n pieces of what my upgrade will be other than... APG prorunner fenders, and 40" tires. Looks like I'll need to go to 16" wheels for the tires. Like you, I don't like too much fender well showing. The APG fenders will go on 1st with the 37" then I will start sorting out lift and wheel offset (if needed). I anticipate having to cut the crash bars and hope it stops there with the new fenders. On the motor performance side it sounds like 1st quarter 2023 and real increases will be obtainable. I hope...

Never seen the APG setup interesting. Website says 16.5in travel but only 14.5in with 40s sounds like a set of 38s will give you 16.5in just my thoughts. My real thoughts add 38s to your stock wheels if you like it your set you can always add 40s and wheel with them and use the stock setup with 38s to daily drive. Thats what I did 37s daily and 38s for wheeling once my 37s go bad I'll upgrade my daily to 38s but those wheel won't get scratched up.

Hey, 1st.... thank you for reaching out again!

I've seen his build without 40"s. His trailer an MIC top lockable window / safe is very nice!

He did mud terrain tires, 3" body lift to work though the fender (mod) issues then added big spacers for clearance and poke.

I definitely dont have his shop, tools, or skill set. I do have patience for some things... But, also have been told differently...lol

I plan to get the pro runner fenders 1st for my 37" K02 AT. Then I'll start sorting out fitment for the 40" AT. My plan is to have travel and clearance to support them but no more. I'm not a fan of 2' of wheel well showing or the poke. That's just me.

Aluminum belly skids with UHMW came in today. Started the Winch install today. Will post info over the next few days.

The one thing I want to point out first is some bumpers have wires make sure you disconnect any wires that need disconnecting.

Second they say it's hard to disconnect the 2 hoses from the cooler its not hard just don't push the inner part of the clip push the back part of the clip. I'll take a pic and add tomorrow. Just push in then push the back of the clip then pull off.

I cut the brackets off and painted today thats all plan to do the rest tomorrow.

Please read the link above before asking questions.

Things you need to know and do first.

Remove the shudder behind the intercooler if it has one.

Add Ground to the winch.

Before installing winch make sure you run the Cables up and the extension remote wire down.

When you go to cut your hoses give yourself an 1/2in extra you can always cut more off but can't put it back on. (I didn't do this but it wouldn't have hurt to have a little extra hose)

Again don't push the tabs to disconnect the hose push the very back spot I'm pointing at in this pic.

This is the way I ran my hoses the first time as you can see in this pic it would have rubbed my hose on the pulley.

This was the new way I ran it you should do this the first time and will work great. (Ran it behind the hose) Pull on your hoses double check that the are clipped back on when reinstalling)

Once you put the new transmission cooler bracket in place and you drop the intercooler it will fit the new bracket (Just zip-tie it up)

You have enough wire to run it up before installing the winch just make sure you do this. Will need to wait till right before you bolt the winch to install the extension wire for the remote.

They also gave me 4 plates to go behind the bumper. I only used 1 on each side. This may or may not work for you (Keep in mind I also have the max tire kit so I have an extra spacer on my intercooler) You can see the extra spacer on my intercooler bracket one pic up)

I zip-tied my winch wires to the transmission cooler bracket. Then to the brake line. Then went behind/under the battery box.

Just an idea of how the winch looks.

Its hard to see but I ran my extension remote wire right under wear it is in this pic. It was very hard and didn't give much extra cable but it did keep it out of harms way.

Also I mounted it in the place it shows in the directions. (This may make it hit the hood rod when letting it down) Make sure you mount it as far to the left and up as high as you can not to hit the hood rod.

Final product.

Over all the job wasn't bad but it took about 6hrs. I could do it now in like 3hr but first time I went slow watched the video and read the directions.

I would say if you are looking at doing it expect a full day maybe a little more. This job can be done with a floor jack. You may need a few extra tools you don't have so be ready to go to town if needed. Yes if you have never done anything like this you can do it.

Coverage is great
It has adjustments in the brackets so you can really fine tune how well it fits.

Bad
Instructions suck need a video.
The very back of the gas tank bracket almost hits. This is great for me its a perfect fit BUT if I had shocks with longer range of motion I would need to make a cut to make it not rub. maybe not a bad more like a need to know.
I had 3 holes that needed drilling out. Holes were drilled but way too small. See pics below

Ugly
The brackets were nice and HD BUT if I spend $3,500 on aluminum skids with UHMW I expect you to spend 5min on some cheap paint so that they don't start rusting in a week. Maybe thats just me but it's crazy to think they make this great product but could careless if what's behind it starts rusting. I paid for quality (Yes I painted it myself)

You start at the gas tank and work your way forward. you will have to hold the gas tank up with straps so less gas the better. The gas tank skid is huge I did it by myself with my transmission jack but this is really a 2 man job or at least it will make it way easier.

It could be done with a floor jack. You will need a few tools some may not have like a 19mm, Drill 1/2 hole

This took me about 6hr I could do it now in about 3hr. I would say set a day aside to do it.

Yes, I would buy the kit again.


Place I had to drill the holes bigger (Main gas tank brace driver side skid)

You can see the braces are well made and HD, BUT you can also see no paint.
