one of the members here did a self bedliner white top that looked pretty kick ass. I'm starting to believe his idea isn't just for cosmetic reasons.
I’ve seen some of those and I’ve seen some vinyl wrapped ones. The look sweet! And it’s starting to make sense to add some more protection to the top. Not sure how white would look with my silver though. If I went down that road, I’d probably do a black

Not making excuses for Ford, but I’m curious if closely inspected, Jeep hardtops look the same?
Former Wrangler JK owner here and I can say, I never had any functional or cosmetic issues with my hard top. No creaks, rattles or water intrusion. Exterior was consistent on all panels and no “honeycombs.”

Yeah, shouldn't be too hard at this point...

Yeah, that "new" tech is still working it's way through the industry. LOL
Tech from the 70's and 80's.
You know , the tops on the big Blazers and Broncos ... the tops that are still functional decades later. Yet Ford managed to fine tune the top building process to the point that they can't even get the damn things to last long enough to get shipped out of the yard at MAP.
(Original "Dirt Mountain Gang" survivor here - still holding a grudge, LOL)

I’m really just jealous of all you who’ve at least had the opportunity to have hard-top problems. I’m still waiting on delivery…

..of a build date email.

I just noticed similar honey combing starting to develop on my 2023 front and middle panels (car built in November 2022). Is this something worth bringing up to the dealer or is this to be expected on this top? Also, is there anything that can be done to prevent it from spreading?
