I finally have been scheduled and am hoping to post pics to this thread late 22 or early 23. I think that the RTR Evo 6's in satin black will look good on Hot Pepper Red, Stay tuned it has been a long time coming.

Previous owner painted outer bead lock trim white and put a blue stripe in the center. He also added these larger tires with the white letters out. Wasn’t sure I’d be a fan, but now I love them.
That looks awesome, and the strip is a nice touch!

My Outer Banks is finally being delivered after 9 months...just like a newborn. My first upgrade is a 2" lift with 33" OWL Firestone mudders on the stock rims. I've always liked white letters as long as they're kept clean, and the added space in the wheel wells. Old school I guess!
I'll do some before & afters!
I almost did Firestone MT2s as well, but changed my mind for tamer on-road manners, and occasional off-road excursions. 2" and 33s are perfect for me too.

So here are answers to all the typical questions:

  • Crash bars still in place
  • No lift and stock suspension
  • No rubbing at all
  • Zero poke with standard fender flares
  • Great ride and even less noise than stock Grabbers
  • OEM alloys (17 x 7.5) and no spacers
  • Stance very similar to a stock Badlands now
  • [Edit: I also trimmed the spare tire bumpers 10mm]
I’m very happy with how they look and feel. They fill up the wheel wells they way they should (almost 34” tire height) without any poke, which I prefer. The increase in ground clearance should enable us to go anywhere we would ever want to try going.

Here are some before and after shots…
