I wonder if shipping delays have to do with destination, do they need to get enough vehicles going to your zip code to fill a truck or rail car etc....

I have seen roughly 10 broncos ship to people located in Metro Atlanta or nearby since I have been awaiting shipment. There is no rhyme or reason. The way the trains are routed in the US there are only so many points to unload anyways and the stops are not solely dictated by ford vehicles onboard.

Alright so I got a reply after the third day of pinging the same email into the above contacts. Going to need to run any further responses by my dad to make sure I don't put their dealership in some deep shit.

I’ve even called and they state they call back within 48 hours after speaking to an admin secretary- nothing so far and no return email…

Believe it or not this is exactly the way this should start. They need to make sure you are the order holder and not trying to scarf up a reservation from someone else.

I know this forum is awaiting shipment but my bronco sport BB has been shipped as of 9/20 and was supposed to be delivered this week Oct 18th-24th. Its coming by rail and the online tracker is telling me it's in Delaware at the ramp place. It says it's On Hold while a bunch of other vehicles are being delivered to my dealership an hour and a half away in Jersey I'm just not sure why it would be on hold?

Did you call your dealer? I don't want to speculate as to why it is on hold and scare the hell out of you.

I received the all clear to go ahead and respond so we will see how this plays out. If it ends in anything getting my Bronco to move I will let all know.

I actually think they wait until they can fill a rail car. The build week thread, randomly everyone in GA/South Carolina got confirmation that it’s shipped. Mine was built just a few days after theirs, and I’ve been awaiting shipping for 34 days now. My coworker, also in GA, had his built 3 days before mine and it arrived last month, he had all the mods and mine was just a base.

Oh I could see some stupid crap like this happened with the incompetence. It's like that last roll of paper towels...we get low so we buy more at Costco and shove them into the cabinet without rotating the old ones out first. That last roll has probably been in there for a year

I hope this idea is wrong, but I can envision it and my Bronco is that last roll!

Well chalk that up to two Broncos destined for Georgia being held in Detroit. Seeing as I have been waiting for 21 days the logic seems flawed relating to waiting for a full rail car. But I am guessing there is a LIFO system that is causing the waits on people who immediately did not get put on a train.

Day 51 and my status is still "Released & Awaiting Shipment". Some of the Customer Support people tell me that the Delivery ETA is when it will arrive at my dealer at others tell me that's the date when it will leave MAP. What a joke!

I would find the answers pretty funny if we were talking about some shit I ordered on Amazon but a $40-50K+ vehicle is just down right embarrassing. My favorite answer has been
"please follow up with your sales staff they have more info"

Seems like a failing business model to employ a "Customer Support" team that are unable to provide any meaningful answers and are there just to redirect you to the dealers who also have no information.
