@Darthbronco had a convoy delay for 6 months! So we may be waiting for awhile.

I just made my first auto loan payment and I don't even have my Bronco yet! I picked up a check from my credit union at the beginning of Sept. when I mistakenly believed that Ford would deliver it on time. The only silver lining is that I got a rate of 1.99% @ 60 months and my loan officer said that the bank check is good for 90 days.Well I am only on day 11 but seeing as ford would rather ship some cars as they come off the line and let the rest just sit there I am going to be here for a long ass time. Thought I was being smart applying for financing once I received the built email and it saying "a few days to a week" until it shipped.
Why is it stressful? All you have to do is forget about it and get a call one day when it arrives. After waiting SOOOOO.... long, missing summer completely.... interest rates going through the roof...... to finally get built, and now have to wait 12" from the finish line...excruciating. I remember getting married was less stressful than getting a bronco.....
i was given a similar eta, ford customer care chat gave me a new ETA from October 26th to November 1st44 long days awaiting shipment. I was just given a new ETA of 10/28 - 11/3. The anticipated transit time to my dealer in NY is 18 days. So my Bronco will have to be loaded onto a railcar THIS weekend in order to make it here by Nov. 3rd.![]()

I got my loan through UBI Federal Credit Union. Their rate is now 3.74% @ 60 months which is still decent compared to other rates that I've seen posted lately. You have to live, work or worship in Hartford county to join UBI and their one-time membership fee was $25.Curious, who is your CU? I looking now.

Never heard of getting an auto loan without an actual purchase, But who knows. You locked it in at that low of an interest rate, it's actually worth it.I got my loan through UBI Federal Credit Union.
