I talked to my dealer today and the sales manager said he talked to Ford today as well. He was pretty confident that there is an actual car transporter (and driver) shortage and not any other business going on with the delay. Something about Ford having a contract with the trucking companies from before the gas price increase, and them not wanting to fulfil it any longer.

Regardless, he had no answers beyond "wait and see". So, we wait. And see.

WTF, Delivery on a single Bronco is now $1595.00

9 units fit on a car carrier? That's $14,355 per load. I guess @fomoco is still using this as an additional profit center?!?

Nothing like Blending on 9/13 and seeing several build weeks after receiving their rigs while I sit "in production" and "awaiting shipment" with zero communication.

How many companies would die for an opporttunity to directly communicate with customers and build long-standing relationships? It's like we forgot to hire people that went to business school for this type of thing.

Well...my sales guy called and woke me up about a half hour ago (I sleep late)...he says it's in! I'll go see it tomorrow.

Zero change in online status, so this may be another instance of severe tracking fail.

Congrats! I hope I am in a similar situation and not actually still sitting at the plant, but that seems optimistic

Ford is all effed up!!!
Chat told me it was still saying blue Island ill on the third Indiana the six went to the dealer today and they said it still says blue Island and it’s the 20th now when it’s supposed to show up!!!
It was the 7th through the 13th!
I give up it’ll get here when it gets here!!!

it was built 21 September the train showed up the 28th and didn’t leave until the second or third of oct. And supposedly it’s been in blue Island Illinois ever since!!’

Just got the "Continue your purchase at your Ford dealer" email. Did not receive: "Shipped" email or baby photo. Interesting also is that the Ford tracking site flipped over to "final prep" status while the ordertrack.app still says "Awaiting Shipment". I thought they pulled data from the same place.

Update: as of 21:00 local time, ordertrack.app shows status "Delivered." \o/

Same here. Ford chat said my car was at Blue Island, IL, but the the original railcar # i got from Ford chat says it's in Richmond, CA. I asked for the railcar # for the one that's in Blue Island and they said they don't have it. IDK, it's pretty frustrating. my window is currently 10/20-10/26 so technically they still have 9 days until my window opens. My original window was 10/6-10/10, which have now pass, but i was getting excited because I tracked the railcar to Richmond back on 10/3. I just called the tracking and it says "released to the customer". i'm hoping it got picked up, but then again don't to get too excited.

Will need to update the spreadsheet later, but picked up my Bronco today (9/16 blend). Need more time behind the wheel, but this golden ticket holder is pretty ecstatic.

If you try to activate Ford Pass and it goes to activation pending, it is at the dealer. Mine wouldn’t allow the feature until it arrived on the lot yesterday (the function seems to be is locked in transit)
