I just found this unplugged and hanging loose. I plugged it back in to where it seemed to come from. I’ve not had any issues or warnings and have driven it every day this week. No idea how long it’s been unplugged. This is the front end of the gas tank.

Any idea what these wires are for?

Oh no - You plugged that back in?!

That gives Mike Levine fuel to power his space ship with all the data he collects from your Bronco.

... Actually, I'm just here to see what the real answer is. I'm very curious now :ROFLMAO:

I couldn’t actually see into the back side of the plug in to see if it just holds the wires or if they are connected to anything. I did consider not plugging it in since everything works, but it is too clean to have always been unplugged.

+3 whp, that's what that is!

Like stickers on a rice out Honda, unplugged sensors on a Bronco add WHP.

It's only a 3-wire sensor, so probably fuel flow related if on the tank.

I would think if it was a sensor for the fuel system it would have thrown a warning light at least.

Interesting.
Truly.
I am amazed you didn't get some wonky evap code.
Maybe, just maybe you noticed it directly after it popped loose and the ECM didn't have the chance to analyze data and pop a code.
Very odd, indeed.

Kodiak is how you love and own your Bronco. I've enjoyed his posts and journey he's taken with his Bronco. Faced the negative and the positive with the same great attitude and rides the Bronco like it deserves to be.

Here's another possibility: Connector C435 - Fuel Tank Pressure Transducer. Part of Harness 14407 for the 3-door.

Check the wiring closely to see the specific colors of the 3 wires.

If it's C435, the wires will be:
  1. Violet/Green
  2. Yellow
  3. Brown/Blue
If those aren't the colors, report back with the specific color combinations, and I will look for other possibilities.
