I've gone from being elated that it was built and shipped to now that it's 80 miles away and not moving, it's very frustrating.

I feel you, Mine is sitting in a railyard 3 hours away. This final wait has felt worse than the wait to get scheduled for production.

One trick to use on CSX system will allow you to type in using number pad... don't know if it'll work on BNSF cars, but worth a shot.

On the phone's keypad, you have to select the c corresponding number and it's place in the list for that number...
e.g. - BNSF = 22627433

Broken down -
B is the number two and it is the second ordinal position for that key
N is 6 and second ordinal
S is 7 and fourth
F is 3 and third

Then enter your numeric portion.

hth,
Tim
i'd also suggest opening a notes document on your phone, then pasting in the phone number for the RR you're calling followed by the options for the automated menu, followed by whatever you need to enter for the letters/numbers for your railcar. You can use commas to insert a 2 second pause before the next entry. then you just copy/paste that into your phone app, hit dial, and wait for the info.

For example my saved number for Norfolk Southern looks like this (the 8849 bit is TTGX, adjust as needed for your rail car and replace the xxxxxx with the numeric part of your rail car):
800-635-5768,,,,,2,,,2,,,8849#,,xxxxxx#,,,1

I hope so! I (and many others, apprently) are still stuck in "In Production" Limbo. 11 days & 22 hours & counting...
I’m part of the “in production” crew, too. Chatted today and got a different answer that my “status” would update between 10/6 and 10/12, not that it would be shipped or arrive by then. I definitely agree that this waiting is far worse than the the two years of just not thinking about it. :(

I just called CN and gave them my Railcar # and they told me it got transferred to BNSF. I called BNSF, but no one answered and they asked me to leave a VM. Is there an automated option with BNSF like CSX?

Also interesting that I just received an updated email from Ford informing me that my estimated delivery date was pushed two weeks from 10/6-10/10 to 10/20-10/26. I already knew this from when my Dealer texted me, but just thought it's interesting that Ford's system actually sent out an update.

I'm still in "in production" purgatory!! Blended on 9/16. Spoke with Ford chat a couple times since then- each time they tell me I have an ETA to the dealer of 10/13, with no listed holds or issues... These last 10 days have been harder than the last 10 months!
I'm in the same boat :(

Ship emails are not always happening and sometimes go to spam. Chat isn't anything magic, this is all database access now. Check the OrderTrack App that one of the best B6G members made and check your status. Donate him a beer since your will tap his server several hundred times in the next two weeks.

I just did a quick and dirty analysis of those still 'in production' and there doesn't seem to be a common thread.
At first, I was thinking Lux with tow or something along those lines... or just tow... but when you start looking at the scope of those in production, the options/numbers are all over the place.

TLDR - stuck doesn't appear to be linked to any specific constraints.

How about Convoy vs Rail? Just glanced at this week's spreadsheet and it looks like a lot of those shipping by convoy are still stuck "In Production" or "Built/Awaiting Shipment." Perhaps if they know they have issues getting truckers for convoys, they hold those vehicles a little longer and get the others out first? Purely speculation, but that's all we have at this point.
