Oh I did that, multiple times, then it transferred me to another automated system which asked for my csx userid and when I said I didn't have one, it transferred me to a number that rang twice and then said "number is not in service."One trick to use on CSX system will allow you to type in using number pad... don't know if it'll work on BNSF cars, but worth a shot.
On the phone's keypad, you have to select the c corresponding number and it's place in the list for that number...
e.g. - BNSF = 22627433
Broken down -
B is the number two and it is the second ordinal position for that key
N is 6 and second ordinal
S is 7 and fourth
F is 3 and third
Then enter your numeric portion.
