I just went and ordered my 2023 bronco.
On my 2022 bronco I had a typed agreement with price, the msrp was the MY21 price. I asked about if I still get MY21 or at least MY22s msrp price on my 2023 this time. My dealer said this year we have to pay full msrp and we will get a cash rebate.I didn’t get a clear number on the price I would get in the rebate. I also switched my order to a heritage edition. He also couldn’t guarantee me the rebate since the trim package didn’t exist in previous models. Does anyone have some clarity on the rebates and how they will work. I’m a September 2020 reservation holder, I’ve ordered my broncos the first week you could each year. TIA

Not sure about MY23 and heritage edition, but MY22 Special editions (Raptor, Everglades) did NOT qualify for price protection from Ford

I just seen where blue bronco posted this earlier today, so hopefully I’ll get some form of price protection

I just left my dealer. I was actually called after I received the email yesterday. I was told if I did not change model, trim or doors I would receive my price protection agreed on in 12/21. I had ordered a Base Mansquatch and waited patiently. After a discussion with my dealer who told me that 1 in 10 that they receive thru allocation actually has the SAS package. Apparently it’s a much larger constraint than is being published. I changed to a Black Diamond and am happy even though it’s a price increase. I’ll do a couple mods and make it my own. I’ve got everywhere I’ve needed for the last 42 years with 4x4 and recently with a rear locker in my F150. I’m sure I’ll be just fine. So to answer your question. Moving to a Heritage will forfeit any previous price protection and the Best of luck seeing it in 2023.

According to the Ford Q&A, you should get at least some price protection even though you changed your order.

Was it a dollar amount upfront or did they say it will be a rebate?

Just an FYI as I was not paying attention when ordering my BD you can add advanced 4x4 and get 4A without adding sasquatch. Wish I would have known this to be the case but ohwell.

Just spoke with my dealer as they sent my updated 21 Badlands order, it was missing Sasquatch the dealer noted he'd had quite a few others that had Sas missing and need to be added again.

Worryingly I also noted my 21 order was $56540, with Sas. I've not changed anything, now my reorder 23 has a price point of $56690 without Sas(Sas is an extra $4,090!)!!

So ford may have a glitch in the system or are hoping they can stem the Sas availability issue by changing orders OR even worse they're not holding their word on price protection. Check your orders and your pricing!

Be proactive and educate yourself, but not from this forum. Or your dealer. Or Ford.

This whole situation is fucking ridiculous

Completely untrue. Direct from Ford's new '23 FAQs:

By switching to a Heritage Edition (excluding Heritage Limited Edition), you still qualify for price protection. New in 2023 MY, you will also qualify for price protection by switching to an Everglades.

As for how it works, there will be a certificate that the dealer applies at the time of sale that he can look up.

As for other models, the wording on PP sucks and can be interpreted in different ways.
