Well, after a chat with ford, there will be an “ETA update in the tracker on Oct 13” but my bronco has “been produced” so who knows at this point
Mine is still listed as "in productions" and chat tried to give me a boilerplate answer this morning until I asked for more detail. They have listed that the ETA is 9/28 to 10/4 at the dealer in Richmond VA. I am still a little worried I will be one of the 45000 vehicles that Ford claims are on the lot waiting for parts.

So Close. I keep having to remind myself that I have been lucky with a barely over 9 month turnaround on my order. I don't know how I would remain patient if I was a day 1 res that has yet to get a vin.

on a side note... I just looked at the MY23 BAP site (seems like its not quite completed yet). There are 5.... FIVE different shade of gray! So confused as to why that is needed as opposed to AMB and CO. I know there's a proverbial dead horse here, but I can't help it.

I got the same response, same dates. I pressed on why it's still showing that status and they just said that they have access to more info, and there are no holds on my build. The dealer was clueless as usual.

Also, grey is really trendy right now in home decor. Might be the same thing going on with cars. Not my thing but it probably sells.

Today marks exactly two years (730 Days) since I placed my reservation. I now sit here in production purgatory along with half of my build week. News of 40k units on parts hold in Q3 is mind-blowing. Ford closed the Maverick Order banks in five days. They sold the entire year's allocation in five freaking days. The Bronco order banks are likely just as backed up.

I can't even comprehend how any day 1 converted reservation holders sitting on unscheduled clean must be feeling.

I'll reserve the rest of my comments for a day when I'm not so frustrated.

That's funny. Mine seems like he doesn't want to do much work for his 50k purchase commission, which is on an order over the phone, mind you.

Today I asked if the dealership would quote me on some bigger tires, just to see if he would do anything (they said that wouldn't buy the originals as some have posted on here). I also intend to buy them if the deal is in line with the online prices. He first told me that I would have to come into the dealer, which is two hours away, to talk about tires. I encouraged him to quote a couple of brands of a specific size as a purchase add on, specifically the same Grabber ATX that comes on the vehicle, just larger. He reluctantly said he would, thought no info yet.

It's so odd to purchase a new vehicle from someone that seems to know very little about automobiles...

Ford sent me the “just rolled off the assembly line” e mail this am. A few days ago I received the “it’s shipped” e mail. Either way it had a link to my assembly line pic. Proof of life photo I guess.

I'm guessing only folks with reservations get the 'baby photos', correct?

I've heard it goes both ways... some without get them also, some that do have reservations don't.

It's Ford, ya know? Consistency is inconsistent.

Learned literally nothing anyone says matters. Ford does it how they want. My vehicle said awaiting shipping for three weeks as it said production for a similar amount of time after being pushed back. None of the so called "trackers" did anything for me. If you live in the midwest do not waste your time trying to figure out where your Bronco is. It showed up at the dealer and they didnt even know it was on it's way and waited 4 days to tell me it was there (I now live in another state)But thankfully I know my salesmen is just very behind when it comes to these things, consistently 2-3 days before any kind of response. Now that the Bronco is there, I have had zero issues besides them low balling me on my trade-in which isn't that big of a deal as ill just sell it to carmax or carvanna. A week or two after the Bronco arrived I finally got the assembly line picture and it changed to arrived at dealer(never said in transit at anypoint). Leave for the 10 hour journey back on Tuesday to pick it up. This has been a very stressful and frustrating process as it seemed order dates seemed to not matter after the re-order but so happy to finally be done. Was a 7/18/20 reservation and 3/18/21 order with a re-order in first available in October. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!!!

Thank you!!! I originally ordered the antimatter Blue, disappointed they brought it back for the 23's but I had a midnight Silverado and loved the black. Learned my lesson with white on my new Silverado. I I can't wait. Wanted to make a special trip but have a wedding there next weekend and I figured its been 18 months whats one more week.
