What if we don't want a roof rack, but DO want limb risers? Will you guys make a bracket that attaches to the mount points above the windshield, yet still allow the painted caps to attach for a clean look?
It wouldn't be an ARCHETYPE part if it were any other way. ;)

We're moving right along. I'd say 90% complete and almost ready for prime time.

We'll have a full billet trail sight that mounts to the modular base plate. Weight rating, at this point will be limited by what the fender can support, not the plastic trail sight. With the modular base plate, you can swap between the trail sight delete for a smooth look or easily swap to the trail sight. The ultra clean stainless cable limb riser is is an add on. With our upper mount on the soon to come roof rack, it will not be necessary to remove the limb riser to fully open your hood. There are 'hidden' M8 threaded locations on the top of the trail sight. These will be used for the upcoming mounts. Think HiLift Jack... proper beefy stuff. This will give those that want it, a real overland/exploration look.

We're running prototype parts this week. Actual photos soon!

They're being machined now. I hope to have them fully finished and installed by the end of the month. That's probably an aggressive date. We have so much coming down the pipe and the pipe isn't getting any bigger.

Are wheel options part of that "coming down the pipe"? ;)

Are you tapping into our super secret meetings, Sir?!

As a side note, are you pumped for the college football season?!

Maybe as I could possess secret sauce telepathy and yes on CF....although I'd be happy to see communist OU go ahead and move to the SEC now so they can begin getting their asses handed to them immediately. ;)

Good to see that the front line lines up with the fender and hood correctly. Seen some of these done with that front edge just being straight and couldn’t understand why they didn’t make it line up.

I'll need to check up on these and follow up. We sent the designs off for machining a while back. I would expect them soon. I added some other projects ahead in the mix that bumped the trail sights a bit.

The forgotten product. Guess it wasn’t a popular idea?

AR | RUTS : Ruggedized Utility Trail Sights

Accessory #3. Some of you have asked for it and we're doing it! We're taking the OEM's mixture of plastic and metal and cranking it to 11! The RUTS will be the foundation of a line of accessories that I think will become the Swiss Army Knife for mounting and stowing of readably available off road or overlanding gear. We'll forgo the plastic cap for full billet construction and really anchor it to the inner fender for really robust support. I'll retain a lot the OEM look with the nuanced BRONCO grill look to the opening and mechanical hardware, but the RUTS will be capable of so much more. Think HiLift jack, Maxtrax, aux lighting, recovery cables, fishing poles, limb risers, GoPro, flag, antenna, lashing locations for a kayak, long boards, paddle boards, canoe ... you name it. If there is a use case for additional mounts or adapters, I'm all ears.

This is a larger and more complex part. I'd love to have it ready for SEMA but that will be an aggressive goal. We'll see.

patiently waiting for someone to design a trail sight replacement with turn signal indicators facing back at the cab like the 60/70's vehicles had.
