they are not going to raise the price by 8 to 10K

they Certainly could. 8K on an 80,000 truck is only 10% and cost of goods sold has gone up that much for sure! Then there’s the renegotiating the sales agreement. MSRP last year. Who knows what it’ll be this year. At 86K out the door I’m already stretching the budget.

For those of you being told your built vehicle is on plant hold, where are you getting that information from? Or is it because you don't have a delivery eta, thus assuming plant hold? When I chat with Ford Performance, they are telling me all they can do is track the vehicle, and actually seemed to get annoyed with any other questions I asked.

Plant hold should come from OASIS, but if your status has been sitting in production status and not in built status that means something is up. It has to get to built status before ready for shipping consideration.

I called Ford Performance. Last week I had been told “released, ETA 9/7 - 9/13”, yesterday the tracker flipped to “Built” and the backdoor shows ETA 9/18-9/24, also received the Built email this morning with the 9/18-24 ETA.

So I called Ford Performance this morning to find out which is it: 9/7-9/13 or 9/18-9/24, and the guy said it shows as “Built, On Plant Hold, estimated delivery 9/18-9/24”. I asked him specifically it he could tell the reason, another buyer produced on the same day was told chip hold. He said he had no further information and cracked a joke about believing what was on the internet.

Ford performance chat specifically told me plant hold. I have only chatted 3 times with Ford chat about my Raptor and 2 times I had the same person and they seemed perturbed by me asking questions and didn't give me any info. Today I got someone different and they were nice and told me about the plant hold.

we will see in 2-3 weeks when the 2023 order guide comes out. I would be shocked to see it is more than a 1k increase.

Ford choose the current price to be in a specific bracket when comparing cars. If it jumps up another 10K it starts to more directly compete against luxury cars and the Raptor will lose out if you are in the market for Luxury cars.

Agreed. Also, I haven't built and priced a 392 Wrangler with Xtreme Recon, but that is the direct competition they are most closely aligning to I would imagine.

A little over $86K, but it has a Hemi. I get it, Hemi's are cool. I have one, but in an off-road vehicle seems to be a little overkill for most uses. Just my 2 cents.

Is there anyone with a June or early July blend date that is still "In Production" other than me?

@Raptor911 has been pretty much spot on with his info throughout this process, I’d go with his thought on the matter

but we will see

That’s what my Braptor costs after tax and registration

The Order trackers still show mine as still in production 6/24. The Only update has been from my Dealership a couple weeks ago with an ETA of 9/11-9/17. It’s looking like that will probably not happen.
