I’ve not reached out to Ford Performance in pretty much forever, but figured I’d give it a try today.

They show it as “produced” with no other info and an ETA of 9/4-9/10.

the tracker just shows “In production” still. No word from my dealer.

Not sure how that math can work, but we shall see… fingers crossed but definitely not holding my breath.

so sick of this merry-go-round. you think your close and it slips, mine was suposed to be built sept 5th, then the 12th, now oct 3rd.. I'll get it just in time to park it for the winter........
Yup. Did that with my FE last year. Picked it up 10/30, snowed a week later, parked. I'm glad I was able to pick it up before the salt.

Yeah I wouldn't drive if they salted our roads here either. Even if I get mine dead of winter I can go snow wheeling in CA.

I’ve been given a VIN and scheduled for the week of Oct-17-2022.

When I checked last Friday, it was scheduled for the week of Oct-10-2022 (First time I have ever been scheduled).

Is this a good sign now that I have a VIN? Do you guys think they will actually follow through and build them?

You have a VIN so you will get built. BUT don't be too ecstatic as you may get 2022 Raptor in Jan 2023.

Last I knew CalTrans used salt/sand mix and/or brine on the mountain roads in Tahoe area. Although due to environmental impact that may have changed in last couple years. However, when I head back down to the valley, I’ll spring for a car wash with underbody spray to loosen up some of that, just in case. My current truck doesn’t show any corrosion after four winters.

Looking at my likely delivery time, snow wheeling is on the menu

You appear to be right. Some sort of Salt Brine on 80 and 50, from what I found only in two counties, so I'd imagine near the summits.

Seems like a really low amount though, I've never seen it have any impact of rust in all my wheels snow wheeling.

If you look at the month of September on the bronco calendar ford sent out it is Raptor month and has a raptor running across the landscape. So my theory is that since we have seen the pictures of alot of raptors built sitting at ford and people have said their raptors are built waiting to be shipped and alot of people's orders have been pushed to September. I think ford has planned all along to have raptors built and released all at one time during the month of September. At least that's my conspiracy theory and I'm sticking to it.

Ford Bronco ⏳ Bronco Raptor now being scheduled for production & VIN assigned 20220901_130132
