My dealer called me out of the blue and asked I was still going to place an order when ever the order banks opened back up. She already knew the answer, and had my order sheet sitting on her desk just waiting to be put into the system. She said well its your lucky day I have an abandoned order, its everything you want minus the color (I wanted eruption green), this one was cyber orange, it also didn't have the modular bumper like I wanted. I said "what's the ADM" she said for you and all the business you've brought us $10k, i said um no ill wait she said just messing with you! So then told me the Owner told her to call me and offer it for MSRP as long as I would trade my truck in. I traded my 2018 F150 that was lifted and built for overlanding in on my 22 Black Diamond. They gave me more then I paid and had into the F150. But I also have purchased a few vehicles and brought them about 15 other customers.

I bought my 22 Big Bend from Cambrian Ford in Sudbury, Ontario. It was a canceled order and I paid 4k under MSRP. Painless experience
Can I ask how you paid 4K under msrp?! Maybe I need to come to Canada. 😂

Just bought my Outer Banks at MSRP on a cancelled order. Dealership wanted 7k over sticker when I went into the showroom. Also low balled me on my Bronco Sport trade. The sales manager was a real A@#$Hole and was very condescending in the negotiations. Ending up sending an email to the owner to explain what happened. GM of the dealership steps in and sells to me at sticker and trade goes up 4k.
This is a dealership that recently took over an existing Ford/Lincoln dealership.
Wow, That’s awesome it turned out that way for you. One of the sales managers here was the same way. Very condescending in negations, so I walked and now he’s calling me daily for the last 5 days, but still doesn’t understand why I’m not willing to do 15k over asking.
Not gonna happen on the outerbanks, sir.

Is that "code" for you are a member of the Mafia? LOL. If you haven't seen the Sopranos it probably doesn't mean anything to you!

I am currently in Arizona and I'm finally starting to see around 3-4 broncos sitting at dealerships now from cancelled orders. Does anyone have experience buying one after a cancellation? Earnhardt wants 20k ADM and was willing to take 15k instead. Are there any dealerships that are willing to take a lower "premium"?
Ours was priced 5k over MSRP, but we got 3k extra on our trade in so all in all 2k over MSRP.

Love it!

I had a Dealer trying to sell me one at $10K over sticker and asked what I was willing to pay. I said "Sticker." Salesperson told me to call back when I could be more reasonable. :ROFLMAO:

After waiting for what seemed like a lifetime my dealer called me and said he had a cancellation and would I be interested in buying it. I though about it for a day and jumped on the deal. They only sell at MSRP so no ADM BS. Of course a week or so after I bought the Bronco I received an email from Ford that my Bronco I reserved and ordered was going to be built in June. It was and it has still yet to be delivered to the dealership. The latest date I received from Ford is 9/6. Anyway, I don't regret doing that at all. I am not going to take the original Bronco and try and sell it becuase I just don't feel like messing around with that crap. Good luck I hope you get one soon.

I feel lucky, I was able to buy a '21 OBX abandoned order for MSRP while I waited for my BL to be built. I don't think the sales manager was happy but he said it was corporate policy to sell at MSRP. I remember him telling me even if you don't like it you could turn around and sell it and make $10k. Fast forward to earlier this month, sold the OBX and bought the BL. As it turned out the sales manager was prophetic.

imo 5k is the max, and i'm against adm. only reason i say that is the next round of broncos will be 3-5k+ more depending on packages/add-ons.

that said ford is making a hard push to deliver all ordered broncos this year before the delivering the new order bank. you have to assume there will be a decent amount of broncos that are turned down and lots by the end of the year.

bottom line 5k max, put an order in when the banks open, and wait for the right deal. don't go backwards for a few months.

I sent an email offer to the sales manager on what I presumed was a cancelled order. He responded later that day with a no. I moved on. Ten days later I get an email from the same SM who says they will take the offer. They tried to add 2k worth of 'crap' over my offer. I explained that he reached out to me and he had my offer. We agreed to 2k over MSRP, my original offer. 2 door BB, manual.

Incoming Rant:
So I ended up walking away from my order after it showed up (2 year wait for nothing). Dealer was kind of flakey through the whole thing and I was basically doing his job by telling him to switch order codes to get ford to pick it up, showing him I’m locked at order price versus delivered sticker etc.. It actually got to the point where I called him saying the Bronco arrived since I was following the tracker.
So came to working on the price, he “agreed” to sell it to me for the locked order price, but then low balled my trade by $6k. We had some back and forth on it basically came within $800 (OTD price) and he made the comment “you know people are asking $10k over sticker and I had many offers on it” I said sell it to them and walked.
2 months later it’s still sitting on his lot with a $10k ADM.
Theres a point for me that paying over MSRP is a dumb idea. We are talking about a mass produced vehicle, with some shortcomings. Dealers already make a decent amount from invoice to MSRP as well as collecting advertise assistance from Ford, kick backs from finance rates, warranties, and such. The car market is starting to crash, the fact that Dodge and other brands are offering 0% for 72 months financing is a solid sign. If you can wait, I say hold off and reorder the 2023’s if dealers get greedy now. Yeah 2023 MSRP will be more, but you get more options plus hopefully the bugs will be worked out

I got sick of waiting for our badlands order so I paid 5k over sticker on my wife's black diamond back on june. Dealer wanted 10k over but I have bought a bunch of super dutys from them. Told them I wouldn't go over 5k over. Dealer I have my badlands order through said they would do 5k over . I passed on a few wild tracks and outerbanks. We love the black diamond. I wouldn't go over 5k over sticker.
