I picked my kids up from school (like I do everyday) last week the woman who called them for carline said I was in a Jeep, clearly she is going blind or not observant, I was quick to correct her but she seemed annoyed… right back at you lady

Give her a break, Jeep is a generic term like Scotch tape. Army "Jeeps" were made by different companies. I knew a guy who would get offended when someone called his Land Rover a Jeep. For him it harmed his ego -- I paid $80K for my Land Rover I dare you call it a Jeep. He should have been happy, Jeeps were better and more reliable. Go ahead and correct but don't be a dick about it.

Meh. It happens all the time. Gas station filling up? "Hey, I like your Jeep!" or "That's a sweet Jeep!"

I just roll with it with a polite "Thanks!", and if the person starts asking other questions about it/wanting to understand more I'll let them know it's a Bronco and here are the features, here's what I've put it through, etc.
Met some really cool people that way.
And yeah, also been the "Red Jeep" at CFA.
But it's ok.
That Grilled Chicken Club sammich with honey BBQ sauce packet is on point, as are the nuggets.
They can call it whatever they want and take my $$.
*have not tried the lemonade yet, but I will next time!

Okay, getting off topic a bit here, but Chick-Fil-A is doing something right. I go there on Saturday at lunch time and the place is packed to the gills. They have employees directing traffic in the drive thru and like 20 working the counter. They all are working hard, cheerful, polite and serve you with a smile. McDonalds down the street? You get the impression the guy serving you just let out of prison. These kids working at Chick-Fil-A are the ones going to be successful in life, NOT the ones sitting at home that are too good for this work and demanding government handouts. So yeah I take my Bronco to Chick-Fil-A any chance I get.

Oh man. I should’ve known that a casual lighthearted joke about an innocent mistake would be snowballed from every angle possible. Hahah. End of the day I just thought it was funny and thought the other bronco peeps would too.

I think its funny, great post. Those that are offended by their Bronco being called a Jeep, seriously you aren't doing us Bronco owners any favors, just being a dickhead.
