9/5/22 Build week group

Dealer and ford chat told me last week I was scheduled for 9/12 but I got the ford email yesterday and it now says week of 9/5. Looks like I may have been bumped the opposite direction of most of you. It’s a OBX, 2.7, 4dr, MIC, Lux, Tow

Same as me. I also have another order from a reservation July 21 and crickets on that build. Zip, nada. I truly believe the dealer matters.

Yep- my first order was through a great dealership- it had over 600 reservation/orders though. My second order was with a dealer who had closer to 400 orders. So I still don’t know how I got lucky. Im just glad I did.

Same build as mine. Don’t know about the other build weeks, but a lot of the ones scheduled for 9/5 have features we’ve been told would cause delays (and have!). Did Ford suddenly find a lot of missing parts and chips in a closet somewhere? I hate to be suspicious, but I’ve been fooled too many times over the past two years…

Make sure you put your info in the spreadsheet (link on the 1st page). Not sure what past build weeks experience has been from build week to delivery. I think the weekly spreadsheets would have that data, just not sure anyone has consolidated it.

Well shoot -- see some familiar names here. I'm coming from the 8/29 build group now as well. I didn't see a smoking gun on the prior tracker so have to assume its general shuffling of builds week to week.

Marked the new date on my calendar and just laying in my hammock, below my flag, shuffling my cards...

I had a walk in order late Feb 2022 before orders closed. 2 door VB BD auto 2.3 mid. Called just last week, confirmed unscheduled clean. Recieved my schedule email for week of 9/5 just this Friday 8/19 at 7:48 PM (someone was working late!)

Hello everyone, I finally hit my first and seconded milestones all in the same week! My order got scheduled 9/5/22 and then bumped to 9/12/22. I can say I honestly feel pumped now, looking forward to the next bump, LOL

How accurate do we think Ford Chat is? I mean I see other people bugging them constantly and hearing different dates. My sales guy stated 8/29 week was holding on a face to face yesterday morning. Ford Chat gave me the 9/10 later that day and note they gave me a estimated deliver of 9/2-9/8 with that. All I know is to keep checking for a WS. No backdoor checks for this guy. Plus I need to hold back from bugging those Ford Chat folks.

Well, I was wondering the same thing. Initially I was in the 8/29 Build week group. I got an actual build date of August 31 with an estimated delivery date between September 11 through the 17th. I got bumped to this group, yet I still have the same estimated delivery date. This absolutely does not make sense, because that would mean one week after my build date my bronco would be sitting in Texas. It doesn’t seem possible. So I’m beginning to wonder how accurate they truly are. I did confirm with my dealer that I did indeed get bumped to this week though. So they are correct in that aspect.

Welp....just got bumped to 9/12 week. However, unlike last week when Ford chat was unable to give me an ETA for delivery, this morning's agent was able to......Build is a 2 door, MT, HPR base. No options....See y'all!

Besides today, when did you last check?? I checked Friday. I was going to check each Friday, but now I want to check today!! Lol!!

I checked on Friday and was still a 9/5. I think they make the changes over the weekend if I remember correctly.

Hello, guys and gals! I got the dreaded bump from the 8/29 week. I started out with a build day of 8/29, then was told 8/30 by Ford Chat last Thursday. I saw a bunch getting bumped, so I decided to pester Chat again tonight. Now I'm being told a 9/9 build day. No idea what the rest of the dates in the text mean.
