when do you all turn Baja mode on vs normal 4H? And can you turn the camera off?

When you want quicker throttle control. Yes, press the camera button.

When you need to hold higher rpm for the terrain. Torque on demand.

Like stated, push the camera button. If on pavement put in 2 wheel with Baja.

what is the benefit of higher RPM in the lower gears? it sounds like its almost hurting the engine in baja

Loose terrain and sand. Any situation if it bogs down from lack of wheel spin and could cause you to get stuck. Torque on demand can pop you back out and keep on top.

are you using 4H on the road in the photos
the roads I was on didn’t require any 4WD but I was messing around with the goat modes and 4wd. I went in some muddy and rutted sections Where the camera was cool. And on a Sandy road I put it in Baja for a minute but was going way to fast to want the camera on.

I was trying the settings and menu and didn’t see and off, but was just Too stupid to hit the camera button!

but normal 2nd and normal 4H were great

To me with the G.O.A.T. Modes it's too much to remember everything they activate, and the restrictions also. For instance, Sand mode and Mud/Ruts automatically activate the Rear Locker by default. And in Baja mode the 4A Drive is not allowed. To me it seems easier to use Normal GOAT mode and then select the 4WD options/buttons as needed. Here's one of threads talks about this stuff

inally got the courage to step on the gas in Baja mode, and I didn’t know what I was missing!! Select Baja then select 2wd with traction control off and my 2 door badlands transformed into side by side!!! Every thing changed from holding R’s and growling like a beast with aggressive shifting patterns, to softer suspension dampening to soak up the bumps on the rutted dirt road I was on.
Let the fun times begin šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤©šŸ˜Ž

Why I ordered a Bronco. Loves fast high speed dirt roads. Eats them up. I had a Rubi all set up on 35's. Hated everything but rock crawling. Just hated stutter bumps and any speed on dirt roads. Bronco is the opposite and will crawl all day with SAS.

Rally mode is great for dirt roads. It's fun to pretend you're MƤkinen, blasting down the forest roads. At 60+ hills become whoops and hanging the tail out around corners is satisfying. The poise of the Bronco suspension is amazing for an off-road focused truck with big tires.

On non-Raptor models it can't change suspension tuning.
Throttle, transmission, steering, engine, traction, stability, etc are all on the table, but there is not electrical connection to the Badlands/Sasquatch Bilstein shocks for on-the-fly tuning. They are great shocks for factory equipped and handle speed really well.

Icon makes electronic controlled shocks, CDEV, that can be adjusted from an iPhone app.
SDI will come out with their EClick electronic shocks which include a stand-alone controller you mount in the cockpit.

That’s cool, but I’m still happy with what got from factory, but I’ll be saving my money šŸ’° for the future…
