Hedged my Bronco reservation (July 27, 2020) with a Lightning reservation (Day 1 Res) thinking my Bronco would never get built I received my Lightning confirmation a week ago for an August 15th build date and a week later got the confirmation for an August 29th build date for the Bronco! Stoked for both but now need to tell my wife that I have to re-mortgage the house...:ROFLMAO:

I recently experienced a ride along in the Lightning. I am in my sixties. Physically fit and exercise daily. The driver found a lonely straight away to show me the torque. From a dead stop he stepped on the throttle. I have never experienced G force like that. I actually began to black out. I yelled to have the driver stop the acceleration. I was told the throttle was at half way and we had only obtained 40 mph before I yelled to stop. I had a headache and a queasy stomach for the rest of the day. I have been driven in all types of EV’s. They all posses unbelievable torque. This Lightning far exceeded the others. Needless to say I won’t be a drag racer, jet pilot, or astronaut.

I saw someone accelerate hard in an early electric Hummer and I have never seen anything that big move that fast. My first thought was that people should probably not be allowed to own something that can do that.

I have been concerned about that for a while. I remember the stupid things i did in my Mustangs when I was a kid.....I would have had no business having an electric car with that much torque. I wouldn't be alive today.

Assuming you are price protected against the massive price increase just announced on the Lightning, I'd buy it and flip it. Could probably make enough to buy another Bronco.

Unless you have a custom extra-long garage, I don't know how you plan to charge the thing anyway, I know my wife's F-150 is far to long to fit in a standard garage.

Here is hoping you don't add divorce to this months achievements!
That'd mean a LOT of expensive months. Don't ask me how I know...

Definitely an expensive month. My Lightning Pro is on the train somewhere between MI and MA. I’m looking forward to its arrival.

Wow I could not afford either of your builds by themselves, never mind both.

Electric vehicles are so overpriced- I'll most likely never own one. I just have to make it 2 more years with gas, then I retire, will work close to home and maybe get an E Bike. Well maybe not, I can pedal LOL.
