Can we put Ford in as the goalie and do some slapshots?

Yeah true - but I don't think I'm one of them - confirmed that I am NOT previewing - maybe next week I guess.

Just slipped from 8/29 build week to 9/5. Already slipped from 8/22 to 8/29.

I’ll take the fact that they seem to be throwing some more Raptors in the schedule as a good sign. I don’t know why, but I’ve got to cling to something!

I just went by my dealership to check on my 22F150 and 22 Bronco Raptor and I saw an Orange Ranger Raptor. It looked good, but still very small.

I don’t think dealers are required to fill their GT allocations first. So if a dealer has 7 allocations total and 4 GT holders. They can fill the 3 non GT allocations first and push the 4 GT holders down the line. I can see them doing this especially if they are charging high ADM on their non GT allocations
Never new how the dealer order process worked before. I’m not much for conspiracies, but I just read thru the ADM thread and find it curious that if Braptors market price is MSRP+huge ADM (verified by that teachers sale on EBAY for his undelivered unit), is it possible the shipping delay correlates with these first orders not being marked up? I mean at $25-30k/unit markup on say 2000 units, that’s $50-60m FORD and dealers know full well they miss out on on just by loading built units on delivery trucks. This close to changeover, there’s no way they’d push these to be ‘23 models to justify a new ‘23 MY markup or something, right?

Ford doesn't get ADM - only the dealers do. So it these are sitting in Ford's inventory at their carrying cost, and they don't get their money until the hit dealer inventory.

The issued VINs are 2022 VINs, so they can't for the built ones.

Makes sense and I kind of figured, but while I know ADM is dealer only, and yet FORD now knows these are worth substantially more than original msrp, seems logical FORD may be motivated to find a way in on that action. Multinational corps aren’t known for being ok to leave money on the table as stockholders tend to frown

I have personally seen this going on over 30 years with my Ford dealers. Broncos are just the latest. Ford does not care about ADM and does not want to participate in the profits or stopping it.

I hope so since I’d happily join the resistance against it. Truth is, this is damaging to FORDs brand by letting it occur at all. But I won’t deny, seeing theLightning jump $7,k in price when order banks opened last week makes me nervous for the BRaptor. Seeing GM’s rule come out that voids warranty on any flipped units w/in first year makes FORDs inaction on this seem complicit. Were FORD to enact this on all Broncos, the resale market would look much more down to earth right now.

So...just found out my status from the dealer rep (Ford regional rep). Of the 9 GT holders at my dealership only 5 are being built MY22 and the rest are pushed to MY23. Me included. The sketchy part was he did not know when the other 4 would be built and delivered, could be spread out through the first 6 months of 2023. The 'we are not taking new retail orders' Ford tagline just means no one will be built before these next 4. But who knows when that is. I guess I'll keep waiting.
