Thought it might be beneficial to start a thread on OBX order status for those interested.

I’m a 1/22/2021 walk-in order with a small dealer in upstate SC.

My build: OBX 4-door, 2.7, MIC, Tow, High, Locking Diff, Carb Gray

Status: Still “Order Processing” with no movement.

Same here! Have they told you how many orders are ahead of us? Haven’t been able to get that out of them. I was told maybe 40 when I asked back in January, but not sure how accurate that really was.

I hate to comment about my luck because it was crazy. I ordered 1/19/22, scheduled initially 1/20/22 and built 4/5/22, delivered to the dealer 4/14/22 and finally delivered to me on 4/20/22.

Eruption Green Outer Banks 4 door, MIC top, 2.7L, High package, 4.27 locker, and advanced transfer case.

I know that there are still older orders waiting, but evidently verified retail orders have a higher priority than non verified orders, so I can see the expectation for 23 that even older non verified order holders will have to verify the customer to get the order to be considered validated in the order banks so that they can be considered before new walk in orders for 23. Of course this assumed that they will actually follow roughly the order of orders placed at each dealer based on what they are able to build.

OBX 2.3 Non SAS. Ordered 12/13/21 and delivered almost 6 months to the day on 5/14/22. 3300 miles, only 1 issue, had AC recirc motor replaced. It was bad from the factory. Hopefully Ford will knock out the remaining MY22’s over the next few months.

Lost track of res date but was early ....converted to order date Oct 19, 2021, ford says i am 8/15 build week. Fingers crossed my gal takes me on hatteras fishing trip in Oct 2022!
