Here are the Bronco production numbers YTD. It looks like Ford is building about 3,000 Broncos per week (July had the summer shutdown weeks). So our build week thread participants represent about 1.5% of the Broncos that will be built that week.

I can still have dreams from our little sample of data. :ROFLMAO:

I saw the email last night as well. Speaking of which that pretty much means it's locked in correct since they haven't been sending those our really.

Also a question about financing are we locked in the rates from ford when ordered or is that not true?

Yes and no... Locked in as locked in can be with Ford... There's always a chance to get bumped. They've been sending them out about a month (3-4 weeks) prior to build week.

I would say no with the financing. Usually rate quotes are good for 30-45 days. Especially since rates have increased by a fair amount recently, for those with the best credit. That's the bite in the ass of this whole debacle for most folks.

I've been banking at a particular institution for decades, but I did recently join a local credit union just to take advantage of their lower new car rates. They were 2.95% for 60 months, and this last increase put them to 3.49%. Rumor is the next hike will be around September 20-21. A teller there told me last week that they have been pre-approving auto loans and locking-in rates for an extended period of time due to the delays in new cars shipping, but she never gave me an actual timeline. I guess I should try to get in there today and see how long I can lock this rate in for.

My estimated Bronco delivery date is the second week of September -- BUT WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT GOES! LOL!

Yeah, this all kinda sucks. I've been a HUGE fan of 0.9-1.9 and below to finance even if I could pay cash (why not, free money, right?). This time around, I won't be able to buy outright due to other commitments and am looking @3.29-3.49 with perfect credit. :(

This is my first contribution to this site. Been soaking up all the great info from everyone thus far. Finally got the production email and VIN. Originally BB SAS with MIC/Tow/Mid. Converted to Everglades Desert Sand (love that it is a ready made overlander, even though it's the 2.3L). Stoked to see the finish line. Hope we all get there soon!

Reservation Date: 3/21/2021
Order Date: 4/13/2021
Convert to Everglades: 10/13/2021

I just went to the local credit union and got my financing pre-approved. I'm locked in at 3.49% for 6 months, so hopefully my Bronco will arrive before then. LOL! The loan officer said the lowest new car rate they've ever offered was 2.95% (which just went up a couple of weeks ago), and that I would have only saved about $300 over the life of a 60-month loan over my current rate. That's negligible, since I plan to pay it off in less than two years anyway if I can.

Thank you, that makes me less anxious. I was a walk in order. Now I will just sit back and (im)patiently wait for it to be built. Here's hoping to driving it this winter!
I wondered the same as you when my dealer called with a build date and VIN. I needed to see it for it to be "real". I too called Ford and got the confirmation. I finally got my email from Ford yesterday with my VIN and build date; 2 weeks after initially finding out. Since this was a "walk-in" order, I think we will be very behind on getting correspondence from Ford.
