Took the afternoon off of work yesterday and went to get dirty.

This thing is ridiculously fun. Not recorded was our threading the needle through a few sets of trees with - I kid you not - 2-3 inches of clearance on each side. That was stressful lol. I added a pic but it doesn't show how close it actually was. But we made it through with me spotting and my wife driving and didn't get divorced!!! Win!!!

Also crafted one of those quick-connect inflation setups - from 18 psi to 42 psi on all 4 tires in 11 minutes flat. Went with the All-Top compressor and fittings from Princess Auto. Thanks to the B6G members for sharing their ideas and compressor options, now it's much quicker to inflate/deflate.

I bolted on ac fab's manual stabilizer disconnects on my base. Removing the stock links was the hardest part.

I got out and tested my sway bar disconnect and it works well, easy to connect and disconnect. It does soften the front suspension and allow more articulation. I have base with no lift and 285/75r16, I still get no tire rub at full flex.

Video is really rough but we put the winches to work and moved an old dodge 5’ sideways. Man I need a garage bad lol. Yes I know the yard and stuff is a mess. Years of neglect being seasonal campers. Getting cleaned up a little more each weekend.

just a couple comparison pics. Makes me miss real chrome. That one is a ls3 resto. Can’t believe how good it sounds. One of the best sounding v8’s I’ve heard.

Just got back from a road trip with my Big Bend. Drove from Connecticut to Sanibel Island, Florida and back again... about 2500 miles total. I have to highly recommend getting a mesh shade. The top was off for a whole week and that shade was crucial for keeping my family from cooking inside the vehicle under the blazing hot Florida sun. There's a ton of em on Amazon and they're super cheap... and more importantly, it works as advertised.
