That is a good question if the Ranger offered the 2.7...
Maybe Ford will have it power the rumored Ranger Raptor, to have it separate the it from the rest of the Ranger trim levels

Manual is better, no automatic is, no it's the 2.3, no it's the 2.7 or nothing else, the 2D is better than the 4D blah blah ?

I do think in that mind set, manuals in sports cars and autos in trucks or SUVs. If I was building a Mustang the engine and transmission choice would be an easy pick for me, 5.0 with the manual just because it would be more fun to drive. But I think the Bronco could still be fun with a manual.
100% it will be awesome in manual. I just really thought more people would pick auto. Goes to show we(enthusiast) are just a tiny maybe 1% of the buyer market that would want manual.

Having had daily driven a manual Willys Jeep, 80s Suburban, and BMW 3 series (that one is fun though), they're over rated. Automatic. But to each their own.

And they will only keep making them if people buy them. It's sad to see vehicles lose a manual transmission as an option. I hope to see a healthy amount manual Broncos, so maybe for will give it as an option to the 2.7 or maybe with a bigger engine option down the line.

Ford making the Broncos standard with manuals is also nuts. In a time where all manufactures have basically done away with them.
Bold move and one I’m sure will be the right/smart move. Things always come back in style, maybe the new generation wants that connection again. Or maybe they will just be a halo move for he first year. We will see.

We definitely shall. It might of been a move to match the Wrangler since there's a manual option for it. I was excited since the day they announced the Bronco was coming back and I'm excited to see what they do next to keep the Bronco relevant and competitive in the market. Competition is good for all of us because we'll get a better product.

It'll be interesting to see if Jeep puts the the V8 in the Wrangler and see how Ford responds.

Eh, my motorcycles are manual enough for me. I drive a car to not have to do the prep work that happens with my bikes, as I carefully pack my backpack for work but then can't pick up anything I need for the house on the way home. It'll be nice to have a vehicle that just goes, over anything, always. The roads here are so wrecked, I have to be hyper-vigilant driving my bikes. It'll be nice not fighting the road at the end of a week, to get somewhere open and clean.

For the last year and a half, I have been living with operating my F-150. I really look forward to driving with a proper transmission again.

I have to admit all the posts about being surprised how close manual is to auto on the poll.... it’s 75 votes out of 165,000 reservations haha With that said I am 100% on the manual train as I love being one with the car and having complete control over what it does?

all they have to do is boost up the 2.7 engine. PSI factory setting is probably between 8-12 PSI, get it boosted up to 20-22

Is anyone who was considering getting the manual at first, but now since its with the smaller 2.3 eco boost just considering getting the bigger engine?

I know the fact that you can’t get the Sasquatch package with the manual is a mark against the manual as well. Even with manuals having less and less take rates in other vehicles today, is anyone still considering the manual at this point with what we know so far?

I reseserved a two door Bronco and I’m still on the fence on whether to get it with the manual or get the bigger 2.7 eco boost engine.
Up until yesterday I was set on manual....but I read an article about how the smaller engine will probably go out quicker than the v6 d/t workload.
Automatic it is.

I want to shift gears very badly but having owned a 2.7, that is such a good engine. For me it will depend on what the sasquatch package costs and the other options I want. I dont want to push over 45k, at that point I would just get a 2-3 year old Raptor. But whatever I do I have to drop my ZR2, that is the worst truck that I have ever owned.
