Sell new Bronco?

I bought a Wrangler when I got tired of waiting on my Bronco and had zero estimate on when I would get it. I told my dealer to cancel my order. He didn't. Two weeks later he said I have a May 16 build date. Not sure what to do now. I like the Wrangler. Bronco is Area 51 Badlands 2.7L, , SAS, mic, mid, hitch. About $60K. Do I just cancel it, buy it and sell it to a friend or one of you waiting, drive and compare? Anyone here interested?

In most cases, you'd have to fully purchase the car, registered in your name, before you can resell it to another person. Otherwise, its the dealers to resell.

For me it’s too much in taxes and fees alone to be able to sell it and break even. Heck I’m thinking of selling my ‘21 as we just got my wife’s and it’s so much better than mine. Thinking we can finish building hers out for a trail rig and I’ll grab something else. Not sure I want to put the $$ into building two of them.

Purchase rhe bronco, then sell it to a friend or someone in your town so you see it everyday and kick yourself in the ass for buying a jeep.

I’m in the same boat. Do I buy a Jeep for the summer or wait for the Bronco. With my luck if I bought a Jeep the Bronco would show up. If I don’t buy the Jeep my guess is I will be waiting for a 23/24 Bronco.

You ordered a desirable model people want. Ask the dealer for 5-10k to walk away from it if you're happy with the Wrangler. The dealer is def just gonna sell it for a big mark up if you end up not purchasing it.

If you have the financial means I’d buy it and keep it for a few weeks. Find out if you like the Jeep or the Bronco better. You’d be able to sell either at a good price and worst case you had a month with two car payments. You could probably break even, maybe pay a bit or maybe even make money with the right buyer.

I was at a Jeep dealership and had intentions of buying a used JL Jeep. I found paint bubbling due corrosion on the door hinges. I walked away from that one and looked at probably 10 other Jeeps and everyone had paint bubbling somewhere on it. Google JL Jeep paint bubbling. That might help you make the decision in wanting to keep it or not. All that said, Broncos (and every other car) have their own issues if you are a meticulous owner that cares about your vehicle.

I ended up buying a Big Bend off the lot for a 4K ADM. I love it and am glad I passed on the jeep.
