Does the price protection get knocked off the top or come back as a rebate/check? My salesman says a check but I can't find that on the ford site... Finalizing paperwork in the morning so I want to make sure its correct

My philosophy is that you will get it when you get it, calling only feeds the frenzy. I honestly was expecting delivery in august. I told myself that. I said, enjoy the summer, summer is for motorcycles, bronco is for winter so i can get out of my alley when it snows.
I pretty much go with the flow. I also thought, my life is pretty good now, i don't know if getting the bronco will change that. I can't wait to drive a more exciting car, but my life probably won't change much.
My mantras through this:
You get it when you get it.
and
It costs what it costs.

Try not to drive yourself crazy, everything has its own time. Enjoy now. You are good enough as you are

I feel bad that people are stressing over delays, but there is nothing you can do about it. But maybe you can do something else

  What does price protection mean?
  Ford will honor 2021 MY MSRP pricing if you had a reservation or order as of March 19, 2021. Your dealer will be issued a certificate for a similarly equipped vehicle that covers the pricing difference from 2021 MY to 2022 MY for the selected series and door configuration you reserved or ordered as of October 1, 2021. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.
  
  In order for you to receive this price protection, your dealership will need to search for and apply the certificate at the time you take delivery of your Bronco. Why is there no price protection for features and options listed?
Price increases for 2022 MY were limited to series and door type.

I’ve driven my salesman crazy since last September but I’ve never called chat. He says he only made $200 off my Bronco since I got a little price protection, had my own financing, and only bought a $300 maintenance plan. I hope he made more, honestly

Yeah that’s how I felt after all the waiting; and then with everyone in the group getting their built emails and I’m just sitting here with my thumb up my ass haha.

I genuinely hope it’s just a technological delay on Fords part in your case and you get your built/shipped email this week. Otherwise, beers on me.

Thanks my man! I hope so too! Worst part is I sold my hellcat redeye cause I got the scheduled for production email and like a moron I believed ford wouldn’t screw the pooch this close to the finish line! Lesson learned! But I’ll gladly take a beer! Second round on me!

Finally got my built email! Estimated delivery to granger is 6/19-6/25

5/13 Blend - 987/1693

On 5/16 - Business day 1 after Blend Date

Mods popped early morning but I would have been an early Friday build.

Late at night it finally popped in the FordPass App with an Activate button

On 5/17 - Business day 2 after blend date

In the Ford Tracker a date was finally added to the In Production button of 5/16/2022 around 8:45 AM.

Tear tag in Modules website as of 8:45 Central - put in in the last 15 minutes as was blank at 8:30 AM.

On 5/18 - Business day 3 after blend date

Only thing changed was a few more items in the FordPass app, Journeys and Wi-Fi hotspot (not activated). Seems maybe the lux package modules being hooked up.

On 5/20 - Business Day 5 after blend date

Built email from Ford received at 3:41 AM Central time. Estimated June 20-26 to Tulsa

Ford Tracker still stuck in 'In Production' until about 8:45 AM, now shows built with a date of 5/19/2022.

OrderTrack.app shows awaiting shipment.
