Ford Chat - Order Processing vs Unscheduled Clean Difference?

Just to torture myself I “chat” with Ford periodically to check on the status of my order. I’ve always gotten Order Processing as the response but today I got Unscheduled Clean. Is there a material difference between the two?

I searched the forum but didn’t see anything definitive.

There’s two columns for order status. The second column is the more relative info. Most will only read the primary status column which for you would say “In Order Processing” and the secondary status column with more detail about what’s going on in the first column would say “Unscheduled- Clean”. The next phase will only change the secondary status and it will be “Scheduled to Week” then “Scheduled to Day”


This is why the “In Production” status for weeks or months for some people can be misleading. “In Production” is a primary status and basically doesn’t change until shipping. Fords order tracker page basically only uses the primary status for your update. A lot more can be happening than what is stated.

As far as I know, no that’s the initial status for a new order with no issues.
