Anyone have front license plates in their state. I’m in nj. We do. What’s it look like
I went with the BuiltRight front license plate holder. No drilling required for plastic or modular front bumper.

Though my in transit tags from the dealer don’t expire for the better part of 60 days and I’m not in a rush to throw on a front plate. NJ is weird, my dad never bothered putting front plates on his C43 AMG and has been waiting for the “fix it” ticket for years but it never came. I’m going to stick mine on eventually because I have a itch to keep everything above board.

I've been silently watching this thread for months, and finally decided to throw my current status in.

My blend date was 1/20. I reached built status, released from the factory without holds on 3/5. My first EDD received after built was 4/29 - 5/5. When I first saw that EDD, I had to scratch my head over it. I live in Royal Oak, MI about an hour drive from the plant. It makes absolutely no sense to me as to why it would take two months to load a built vehicle on a ramp truck and deliver it to a dealership an hour away. I call the Ford marketing support line 2 to 3 times a week and they always stress that there may be shortages in terms of the available convoy. Sure ok, that would make sense but somehow week after week, Broncos that were blended after mine was built have been delivered and cycled through inventory at that dealership. At this point, I have no trust in Ford as a company. If I ever do take delivery on this vehicle, I'm so freaking bitter, that I will probably sell it right away out of spite.

Well I did it today. I emailed my salesperson and Ford Canada (I live in Canada) to let them know I am cancelling my order at the end of this month (that was the last known EDD).

I no longer want this Bronco that has been sitting for months on a Lot. If order banks were open I would have considered ordering another with hopes that it don't end up on a 3-4 month chip hold. But at this point I will not buy another Ford, not in the foreseeable future. Just to top it off, I have been checking the interest rates and they have jumped up over 4% since my order/production.

I plan to stick around for the month to see if there is any progress but good luck to all of you who are hanging around waiting.
I don't blame you . This been a headache from start to finish . My bronco shipped supposedly April 14th and legit neither my dealer or Ford know where it's at lol. They can't find it anywhere . I'm like dafuq did someone steal from under y'all noses and no one even noticed ... It might be in Mexico for all I know. If I don't hear anything from them by the end of next month which is when the quarter ends. Im just going to stop. I'll get it when I get it but just to sell it for a profit . I'll buy myself something else. @Ford Motor Company

Ford is so bad any of us still hanging in here are crazy at this point, myself included. i totally understand the people who are jumping ship and i'm glad for them- they'll be out enjoying a new vehicle long before i will. I guess i'm hanging in for now because i really don't want a jeep- it's just a bummer because it looks like we all have a really long wait ahead considering the lack of movement

This week should have been my "adjusted" EDD week, so I called my dealer for an update - and to express my frustration. My last call was many weeks ago.

I have had a good relationship with my salesman from the beginning. He's a very nice guy and I don't blame him for Ford's problems. But I learned absolutely nothing after a 10 minute conversation.

I asked every question I could think of. I got no new information, no inside information, no "we'll make it right", no "we're aware of your build week delays and are pushing for answers". Nothing, outside of an apology.

I expect more from the dealership beyond a glance at a computer screen and condolences. I already know what's on their computer screen and that it sucks to be in this situation. It's the equivalent of a teenage worker blithely saying, "Sorry, we're out of stock. We've sold a bunch of those lately!" (Yes, he actually told me how many they've delivered since August, as if that was helpful information.)

I can't see any advantage in having the dealership play middle-man if they won't even use their position to pressure Ford for more visibility and details on our specific rigs. Are they under Ford's orders not to talk specifics? Is it an impossible ask, even for a regional liaison? I just don't get the lack of advocacy.

Ok, rant done. Thanks for being there.
Couldn’t agree more!

Well, its May. I am still seeing "In Production" on the tracker with no changes since February. I never thought the updated 5/15 EDD would be a problem to hit, but damn here we are.

This truck is for my wife, who sold her Raptor back in February in preparation for taking delivery, and is the ONLY vehicle on the market she remotely likes. That backfired and over 90 days later still regretting that decision. "Well at least you had some time to put that down payment money into the market to grow" HAHA jokes on you.

Interest rates are up, stock market is crap, but at least I only have to pay MSRP right? Oh and get a hammock, flag, calendar, and whatever else I forgot they sent.

How does this even get made right by Ford once it does deliver? It feels like when you get a small raise at work, you'll take it and like it!!

i was thinking about doing the same. ordering a ‘23 and either selling my ‘22 or selling the ‘23 (depending on if they make any major changes or if the color options are better). i’m so annoyed that i will have a “brand new” car that’s been sitting outside for 6 months+ by the time i get it.
I agree. I’m thinking of ordering and trade in or flip my 22 for close the same price right? I know there will be an increase but I would guess the demand is here to stay for a while and it will get a premium on the used market still.

I had a glimmer of hope on Friday when I was told was off chip hold. I called this morning to make sure (trackers didn't show any movement). I spoke to the most evasive rep. I finally asked him to just answer the question (is it on chip hold), finally he answered and then said "it will be done by the EDD date of 5/24." I asked if that mean it was bumped back, he said "no delivery always meant when it leaves the factory." Suffice it to say, I was not his favorite person on the phone today. I just told him to answer the questions, good or bad, just answer. I told him I was done with him, so please hang up so I could answer the survey. He said "one bad won't affect me, I have 100 good reviews." I asked him to hang up again. He then said something I hadn't heard since grade school "you hang up first, I won't hang up." I kid you not. Then wanted to know how he didn't answer my questions. I just put him on mute until he hung up- very low scores for the only time I bothered to answer the survey.

I understand Ford is keeping them in the dark, but the marketing department is still representing Ford. Would love to hear an honest answer with meaningful information at least once, even if it is something along the lines of "it was luck of the draw that your order is stuck on Ice Mountain, it will be luck of the draw if it ever leaves." Hard to be disappointed if expectations are low. I now know why a Bronco Nation representative told me at SEMA "never buy a first year car" I assumed he meant initial quality, not lack of delivery.

I don’t have a dog in the fight since my bronco showed up a couple weeks ago after a 1/18 blend date. I would just say you’re very close in relation to where you started and cancelling an order only benefits the dealership and the future owner. Ford, couldn’t care less since they’re in the business of selling cars to dealerships and that will happen whether you buy it or someone else does.
But, after 4 months of being subjected to the elements the only issues I found on mine was a 1/4” (or so) scratch on the rear quarter panel close to the rear window, which I touched up with a $30 bottle of race red touch up paint from ford accessories, and the corner of my WT black grill was sticking out by the hood…..I pushed it in and it snapped into place.
Now, there were some swirl marks where it was washed at the dealership, or some other location, but other than that it was no worse for wear.
It’s everything I imagined and I’m glad I didn’t give up. Good luck either way.

I understand why you feel that way. I'm still waiting, too. But not as long as a lot of B6G members on here...

Ford refers us to the dealers to save on calls to their less than “hot”lines. The reps havent been given an answer because clearly the choice was made that Ford will get to Ice Mountain when they get to it, if ever. Theyd never let a rep say that. So Ford leaves it to the dealership to mend/ maintain the relationship because Ford doesnt care if they lose us as customers - that is totally 100% clear. Im sure dealers are tired of dealing with this shit too, especially if they are light on inventory and dont have a ton of sales.

Agreed. Would love to be a fly on the wall at some of the Ford corporate meetings.
