Just checked the back door and no change (just like the last 3 months). They wanted me to do a survey. Sure, why not!
I may have been a bit negative.

I'm in Texas and I ordered a front license plate bracket back in January. My dealer said they will not put the Ford front lic plate holder on due to it is crap. Too bad they don't care about, oh I don't know...getting me my Bronco!

Same here no change in 3 months. Dealer delivery date now in the past. They have called zone rep. All comes up the same “I know nothing.”

I have a question for y'all. If August comes and you finally get that shipped to dealer status. Would you accept the bronco and take it as is or would you not accept it at all or will you accept it and sell it immediately for some gains and try again next year knowing you will get a bronco that's been out in Michigan weather taking the full force for 8 months ?

Once the order banks are back, I will order a '23 Everglades and trade it in for a profit.

I really dont know at this point. I dont need the car. I turned in a lease early and have been driving my dad’s 20+ yr old wagon now for months. My wife has her car. Eventually I want a new car but there is not much out there I like. So I wait. But 8 months is way too long. I dont want a Jeep. I used to like the Explorer but not as much anymore.

I think ill still take it. If there is anything wrong with the top (leaks and quality) or anything at all, it'll show up a lot faster.

I also ordered a Maverick and if I don't like the Bronco as much as I hope I do, I'll sell the Bronco when my Maverick comes in. I call the Maverick a trucklet. Not quite a truck but the hybrid gets close to 500 miles to a tank.

Well I did it today. I emailed my salesperson and Ford Canada (I live in Canada) to let them know I am cancelling my order at the end of this month (that was the last known EDD).

I no longer want this Bronco that has been sitting for months on a Lot. If order banks were open I would have considered ordering another with hopes that it don't end up on a 3-4 month chip hold. But at this point I will not buy another Ford, not in the foreseeable future. Just to top it off, I have been checking the interest rates and they have jumped up over 4% since my order/production.

I plan to stick around for the month to see if there is any progress but good luck to all of you who are hanging around waiting.

i was thinking about doing the same. ordering a ‘23 and either selling my ‘22 or selling the ‘23 (depending on if they make any major changes or if the color options are better). i’m so annoyed that i will have a “brand new” car that’s been sitting outside for 6 months+ by the time i get it.

This week should have been my "adjusted" EDD week, so I called my dealer for an update - and to express my frustration. My last call was many weeks ago.

I have had a good relationship with my salesman from the beginning. He's a very nice guy and I don't blame him for Ford's problems. But I learned absolutely nothing after a 10 minute conversation.

I asked every question I could think of. I got no new information, no inside information, no "we'll make it right", no "we're aware of your build week delays and are pushing for answers". Nothing, outside of an apology.

I expect more from the dealership beyond a glance at a computer screen and condolences. I already know what's on their computer screen and that it sucks to be in this situation. It's the equivalent of a teenage worker blithely saying, "Sorry, we're out of stock. We've sold a bunch of those lately!" (Yes, he actually told me how many they've delivered since August, as if that was helpful information.)

I can't see any advantage in having the dealership play middle-man if they won't even use their position to pressure Ford for more visibility and details on our specific rigs. Are they under Ford's orders not to talk specifics? Is it an impossible ask, even for a regional liaison? I just don't get the lack of advocacy.

Ok, rant done. Thanks for being there.

this is EXACTLY how i feel. it’s almost like they think we are overreacting on this whole situation. i barely get any sympathy when i call my dealership. i cry almost every time i talk to them because of how frustrated i am that they have NO updates.

Yeah, we're on our own, unfortunately. It's definitely 'take it or leave it' over building a customer relationship for many dealers.
