21 months and 3 days or 642 total days after making the reservation and 30 days after the train arrived in Richmond, CA my Bronco has finally arrived at my dealer. I’ll pick it tomorrow 😎

It was there early this morning or late yesterday and the trackers haven’t updated showing it’s delivered for those awaiting delivery and following the trackers. I’ve read about others who saw their trackers update at the time their Bronco was unloaded from the truck.

Edit: The trackers all updated 6-8 hours after it was dropped off at the dealer. I’m now going to remove all of them from my favorites and start my tracke rehabilitation :ROFLMAO:

I'm starting to get really impatient - blend date of 3/16 - email said it'd arrive between April 21-25.
Nothing...finally contacted for Chat - gave me ETA of 5/3. STILL NOTHING...just contacted chat again gave them estimated ETA of 5/3-9, but I did find out that it's been stuck at Mandan, ND since April 11th.

After about a month of pulling a houdini, Bullseye made it home. Unfortunately I need to leave him parked outside for a few days. Here's some pre and post tint pics if anyone cares to see what 20% looks like on the front.

Hang in there! Sounds like the wait is almost over!! All of us have felt some sort of disappointment through this process.

Big Baby Brother has arrived at the 4C household! It feels kind of surreal, never bought a vehicle sight unseen but definitely happy with the purchase after waiting 660 days since my reservation.

Picture

Far right - 1975 uncut, driving, slow upgrade. (My wife's)
Middle - 1971 fully cut, frame off restoration 2013-2015. Could have been powered Fred Flintstone style it was so rusty. Survived the Tubbs Fire Sonoma County, CA Oct 2017...house did not! Owned since 1989 when I was 18.
Left - New Baby Big Brother Badlands.

One happy Bronco herd and new owner!

Blend date 3/16 , has been sitting " in Production" since. Talked to ford chat this morning and gave me an ETA of 5/7. Told me it was on a chip hold. I asked if 5/7 was the date it would leave production and i got " That's the estimated date showing on our end for delivery, so hopefully there's action behind the scenes that were not seeing " Not sure what to think anymore!
They told me the same thing a few days ago.

It takes a while to develop the film in the darkroom, and I'm sure they are short handed... :)

Hello there, I may be able to give you some insight on your order. I am a dealer down in PA, and we have a few Broncos in the same exact situation. Our customers received the "Built" email about two days after the build date, and we expected to see them both the following week. As you could imagine, nothing happened, and we kept seeing the EDD pushed back 5-7 days as soon as it got within 1-2 days of the EDD end date. I reached out to our Regional Ford Rep, and they assured me that these Broncos are built and waiting to be added to a vehicle carrier shipping manifest. Just to be safe, a reached out to the shipping company to see if they could confirm that information, and what I learned from that phone call is where this starts to get confusing. The shipping company explained that both Broncos are marked "Rush Sold" and that they are "Built-Awaiting Shipment", but Ford moved them from the designated pickup lot, to a holding lot that the shipping company does not have access to. They explained that Ford will have to shuttle them back to the lot that they have access to, or they will have to give the shipping company access to the holding lot. Now, I have no idea why Ford would move them to a holding lot, as I have not had two separate sources at FMC confirm that they are built. Last night was the first time that the EDD jumped almost two weeks, and my guess is that this was a manual change made by a Ford employee, and not the system adjusting the EDD based on an algorithm. There is probably a reason behind all of these delays, but I no longer believe that this is all down to a vehicle carrier delay.
This is definitely in line with my experience. After being built on 03/20 and in awaiting shipment status, my ETA was moved out 9 times without any explanation (and I talked to numerous people at Ford and my dealer). When my Bronco arrived at the dealership last week it was absolutely filthy. Much dirtier than what a ride on Convoy should have indicated. I suspect it was moved to a dirt lot and sat for weeks in the elements.
