This is the second year in a row I thought I'd be able to drive my Bronco to my wife's family reunion in Colorado, but barring a miracle will not. I'm looking through Turo for car rental options and there on the front page is a gleaming new Bronco that I could pay to rent....

just did my weekly call to ford customer service- told me it's a chip hold and EDD of 8-14 of may. LOL. Any attempt at rational conversation did not penetrate the skull of the woman on the line. Like: "how could i still have that EDD when it's not built yet" didn't result in any meaningful words. I used to think Ford was the JV team with their MIC tops that all had to be recalled and their repeated missed deadlines and bad valve batches but now i actually think they are the Little League team, not sophisticated enough for JV!

I've been sitting at my local railyard since Sunday. EDD was 4/22 - 4/28. Now 4/25 - 5/1. So close yet so far.

Same here. I am texting my sales guy daily here in Austin, TX for an update and he is surely annoyed at this point. It’s not that I’m lazy… it’s just that I don’t care.

What an insult to all the little leaguers out there!

I’m going to be a bit off the radar for a while. I’m flying home to my family for a few days. My stand in Bronco is feeling pretty spunky right now. Not for sale yet, super clean, tucked away.

I was able to get a little something sent to our resident convict, @Osky305 , yesterday. Hope you enjoy the little extra something above and beyond the shirt. Hoping it fills a little time before the next news report of an alligator attack down on the swamps of FL. I was going to send hacksaw blades but, well, I didn’t need something else getting held up on its way to ya!!!

I was emailed from ford that I was shipped on April 16th.
Here is what I tracked from the rail:

ARRIVED: ST. LOUIS MISSOURI AT APRIL 22 4:33 AM
ARRIVED: NORTH PLAT WEST NEBRASKA APRIL 25 12:19PM
DEPARTED: KIMBALL NEBRASKA APRIL 27 9:10AM

The Bronc is half way home to Los Angeles CA
