What’s the wait after build date?

How long on average have people been waiting to take delivery after their bronco was built? I am excited to have a 6–6 build date, but with the way things have been going I’m not getting my hopes up for actually receiving it immediately.

I feel like there were a heck of a lot of build dates given recently and I’m hoping this doesn’t mean a bottleneck for shipping.

I have a build date of 4-14 with a ETA to the dealer of 5/13–5/20 to California. my vehicle has not arrived yet, so take this for what it is.

Depends on how far from Michigan you are also.
best thing to do if follow your build week group on this forum. Just be prepared that the trackers are all over the place and hard to rely on. The chat through Ford seems to work the best, but still hit or miss. Good luck.

Some people get shipped immediately. Others don't, and if it doesn't ship right away, be prepared for poor communication from Ford. Mine was marked built on 3/20, and still hasn't shipped via convoy just 6 hours from MAP. There's people built in January that still haven't shipped.

They can get put on chip hold, or hold for some other part, or buried in the plant yard waiting on a truck or rail car. Or ship by rail and get stuck in a rail yard for weeks waiting on a truck for the last mile.

Built in June, you might get it in June just a few days later. Or it might be 2023.

I was one of the lucky ones that shipped soon after my 3/28 build, 3/29 blend, and 4/13 arrival at my dealer by rail in Minnesota, 630 miles from MAP.

before you can be disappointed in your shipping time being extended, you have to be disappointed by your build date slipping between a week and 14 months. Baby steps....

My BL, SAS, MIC, 2.7, Lux has been stuck “In Production” since 4/7/22. No additional communication from Ford. The same builds from the day before and the day after have been received by their owners…..

Convoy (Truck) vs Rail. With all things being equal the method of shipping has the largest impact on delivery times.

Mine was 11/17/2021 build date, delivered to the dealer in MA on 12/2/2021. My Lightning is scheduled for build week of 6/13? I’m hoping for a similar ~2 week transit time, but it will show up when it shows up.

Mine was built on 3/6 and still hasn’t shipped 7 weeks later! Ford can confirm it is built but it appears they are dealing with general disorganization and yard congestion which has delayed shipping for me.
