Got my Gear Shade in for my 4-door Bronco soft-top. Took me all and all about 40 minutes to install, of which half of that was just reading the directions and finding the right torx bits in my mess of a tool box. Very easy to install, the mesh is very heavy duty and instructions were clear. there's 0 sag at idle and no flapping driving =>50 mph. I was waiting for the warmer weather this weekend, before hitting the freeway with it. There is a bit of noise coming from the shade but nothing horrible. It actually dampens the wind turbulence in the cabin of the Bronco so much that it wife and daughters hair wasn't flying around.

This is also a nice add-on for my bald head lol. Anyways, take a look, it's a nice clean install. I'll post more pictures later, but wanted to show everyone how their version looked.

It looks great!

I’m assuming it just stays put while the soft top is up. Does it use much of the headroom? Seems like my Bronco has headroom to spare but thought I would ask if it made it seems less spacious at all.

Yeah I should’ve put those details lol
Yes stays in place, no interference with soft top operation.

I’m 6’3 and even with this installed I have plenty of headroom.

I ended up going with the Gear Shade because I heard that the bestop one had issues with sag on YouTube and doesn't flap around as much. It was quite easy to install and it's not super heavy, so I don't forsee there being any issues. The material is heavy duty.

Thanks. Yeah it looks better than the bestop IMO. All of the bestop installs I've seen look crinkly and cheap... This looks really flat and good on the top. How big of a gap is there at the front and does it let alot of sun in? I'm bald as well, lol.

Maybe 2-3 inches, I'll add some more shots later when I get out of work and put the top down.

Depends on what angle the sun is at, I drove home tonight with no worries about the gap but on Sunday when I went for a drive I was blinded by it. It is definitely a significant amount of space but I think it is more troublesome for the eyes/face than the top of the head.
