I think it’s because WeatherTech is dead set on keeping a “no drill” application for their products. I’ll post pics when I get them.
I ordered the fronts as a reasonably cheap option for now. Let me know how the Wildtrak rear set works out.

Rear mud flaps done in about 20 minutes! A power ratchet and 3” extension is very useful for installation if you have them. Absolutely no idea why these are WildTrak only… they bolt right on!

Thanks so much for posting! The rears also look better than I thought, and you have a velocity blue OBX SAS same as the one arriving here in about a week. Fantastic to see exactly what they look like.

Looks like I’ll be heading back to the Weathertech site and spending another $40 plus shipping 🙂

Did you install fronts? Would love to see multiple angle shots of front set on your rig.

Thanks. Still have mine sitting in the box. Will put them in this weekend. And yes the instructions look like a public elementary school mimeograph at the end of June.

It's not rocket science AND the yellow added section is above the max tire diameter so not really sure how WT claims their design needed the gap for proper functionality

Ordered just the fronts for now. I don't think they are bad at all. If you don't like them you are free to over pay for the other brands.

Don’t quote me on this, but I think I read somewhere that they claimed the design was largely in part due to the fenders still being able to be removed while the flap stays on.

Sounds like a dumb criteria. Don’t they know we’re willing to tear apart our rig as necessary. We want function, form, fit.

I Got sick of waiting for other options, so I installed Weathertech front flaps today.

Couple FYI's: The instructions are wrong as it states to only remove 4 plastic screws out of the well. You need to remove 5 for the additional push pin.

The plastic screws in the well are a bitch to get out! When it says apply light pressure to unscrew, they mean it. You basically get one shot to have it spin out of the sleeve or you'll be ripping it out with a pliers \ side cutters. I had 3 that would not come out, so they had to be cut.

All in all, they are fine. Definitely better in person than I was expecting.

Thanks for this post. The directions suck and the push pins aren’t even mentioned. This post saved time.

They aren’t that bad looking in person, especially for $40 plus shipping.
