⏱ Bronco Scheduling Next Week (4/18) For Build Weeks 5/30-6/27 and 7/11-7/25

This might be a dumb question, or something that’s already well known, but hoping someone with patience can answer…

My dealer said (I know I know) when I converted my reservation in August 2021 that he estimates our Bronco to be built in/around July 2022. So, this is the first time I’m actually intently watching a round of scheduling. Other than an order confirmation, would I have received anything in advance of this scheduling if our bronco stands a chance of getting a date next Thursday?

No prob. And, you likely won't get anything next week, if you are actually scheduled.
To get any update, you need to call Bronco customer service, or the dealer. Ford's email system seems to be intermittent, at best.

That list of dates, to the right of the word "2022 Bronco" represents a list of weeks for which they will be scheduling builds (30 MAY through 25 JUL). Scheduling is the process of assigning a tentative week in which production will occur for a given vehicle. Taking recent numbers into account, they have made it up to about 3,000 units produced per week. So... that list of dates could account for 24,000 vehicles getting a build date assigned.

The optics will get worse for Ford when they still haven’t scheduled first week reservations (mine is 7.20.20) at their two year reservation anniversary. The problem is, I’m sure Ford corporate doesn’t care about optics. They will continue with there existing formula that is driven by dealer allocations and constraints. Reservation date has proven to be very low priority in the build formula. The supply chain problems are also still with us, so scheduling production out 90 days is a lot of guesswork over variables Ford has zero control over.

I agree... At the 2 year point this situation goes from ridiculous to plaid. With $40G+ burning a hole in the bank account for 2 yrs, I WILL have a toy this summer. Already shopping for a nice SxS...

What does that mean?

It basically means that Ford is previewing the vehicle to see if it has all of the parts available to be placed in the production schedule.
