Ummm, how does undesirability today result in desirability in the future? I ask this question with VB set for production this week. I bought it for me, not for anybody else, or for resale. If it’s rare, cool, but I doubt it will add value. I really like electric lime green for the wrangler TJ. Very hard to find. But when I did, no difference in price.

I chose not to powder coat the rings, because I intend to wheel this in a lot of rocks and sand, and I thought if I scratch or gouge them, I can repair them myself in my garage. I bought the paint at the local auto parts store that specializes in auto paint. The aerosol can was about $25. I bought one sheet of gray scotch brite and scuffed the rings thoroughly, then cleaned them with an automotive paint grade degreaser. It takes two cans to spray five rings. I used anti seize on all of the bolts to ensure they come off if get the bead lock rings in the future. I will paint those also. They really make the wheels pop, and they kind of glow in the right light. I hope I helped.

Those look SO great! My VB Base 4dr 2.7 blend date is Tuesday 4/19, so it won't be long now. I was already planning on getting some 33s on my steelies, but now I'm definitely going to get the AR outlaw ll's silver wheels now! I'll have some Base stock 16" steelies for sale fairly soon if anybody is interested?
