Well my reservation was 7-16-2020 for a 2 door BD....I guess my order is skipped, lost or stuck in limbo land.
Sorry to hear that. I have a great dealer who has been up front about everything. They are a mid-sized dealership in the metro Detroit area and great to work with. I was getting to the point of saying “Frak” it also when my dealer said, it would not be long. They were correct because I was selected in the next round. Sorry you have not been selected Yet.

I'd be curious to see how much that has changed since many 2D folks jumped ship to a 4D to speed up the process.
That's what my wife and I did, changed from a 2dr Black Diamond to a 4dr Black Diamond soft top. We were scheduled for production the next week. That was in November, scheduled to be built the week of January 24th. Of course, we are sitting on dirt mountain on a chip hold.

FWIW 25% of the Bronco’s of the 2/28/22 build week spreed sheet on B6G are 2 doors. I wonder if someone went through all the various build week spread sheets and figured out what the stats are?

It's worth waiting for... I know that is meme worthy, but I have a 2 door OBX with Lux and Tow. I wouldn't sell it for 90k.

Love your wheel tire combo. What size wheel and tire did you go to? I ordered same as you but hate stock wheels and tires on it. Thanks

Been waiting 597 days for my 2dr. Wildtrak with tow pkg., high group and hoop step. Haven't heard a word since Ford sent me the order confirmation.

If anything like the Wrangler, only about 10% of those sold are 2 doors. Seems like they are catering to the masses right now over the 2 door.

I really hope that changes for you.
It’s not. At least the initial set of orders were a much higher mix. Ford was expecting Wrangler levels, but they forgot pent up nostalgic demand in that equation. The same pent up demand does not exist for Jeeps since they have been on the market continuously.

The MIC top shortage made it worse a as well as 4A E5C apparently, causing some to convert to four soft. I myself have converted to a four door GT Raptor. (Traitor, I know!) So what is being produced underrepresents what was initially ordered.

I have heard from a retired Ford friend, they based their planning off the Wrangler mix of trims and doors, and they were caught way off guard by the higher level trim mix and two door ratio.

I love her. When choosing between the 2DR and 4DR, it was a no-brainer for me (granted I do not have kids), but I'm a purist. I wanted that original 2-door look. It was worth the wait.

This is what I've speculated for quite a while now. I'm also one of those that won't budge from a 2Dr, but I 'probably' would've gone after the Raptor if I had been chosen for a golden ticket.

Ford used Jeep's numbers and didn't figure in much breathing room, if any at all, in case the 2Dr interest was higher than what they 'figured' and it was probably close to double, if not more.
The interest in the higher trim packages could've been alleviated a bit if they had added some of the desired features as separate smaller packages (cold weather package, infotainment package, etc).

I know there had been a chart/quote floating around stating it as around 22% for 2Dr's, but I think that was just the initial surge after the first couple days.

Granted, the initial surge due to a new (reborn) model contributed to the higher number of 2Dr orders and it'll settle down in a few years, but I don't really see it as going as low as Jeep's 2Dr numbers, since this is a good looking revival that brings back fond nostalgic memories for some.

The whole hard-top debacle has been painful, along with the whole commodity constraints and chip supply issue, but I'm still staying the 2Dr route.

Is the constraint 15% of all Broncos or 15% of 2 Door Broncos? Also, what is the % of 2 door vs 4 door orders?

@FordVideoGuy Any ideas?
Right… it would be helpful to know what percentage of all Bronco orders are 2-door

I just got my 2 door Base, 2.7 Sasquatch 2 weeks ago. I was a second day, early AM (6AM) reservation. I had three top constraints- 2 door, Sasquatch and the 2.7. It took a long time and I was not sure I was going to ever get it and did not believe it until it showed up and I got the call from the dealer.

I love the 2 door, would not want a 4 door and I am more than satisfied with the base package, the 2.7 and love the Sasquatch package. So much bang for the buck and I could not afford any of the other trim packages and thought I might have to leave it if the ADM was too high. I didn't and It's well worth the wait. I had to scramble to get rid on my 2019 Silverado truck and pristine 1997 TJ Wrangler with only 30K miles. But absolutely love the 2 door Basesquatch- it's staying in the family. My son is driving 200 miles just to see it this weekend.

A few weeks ago, I would have generally agreed with you, but since that time, Ford has closed the order book for 22MY, so the only thing they can build is in the USOB, and they increased the allocations for dealers, so more special orders are being built instead of dealer stock.
I’ll just say this. My dealer has 13 retail orders none of which are apparently buildable units. He has 5 allocations for broncos the period so ford allocated him 5 stock units. All OBX’s with engines and packages all over the place. He changed two to black diamonds and tweaked the other three. So not sure where you are getting your information. I got my information from experience and seeing it with my own eyes in the ordering system plus talking to the owner who does the ordering do I would say that’s pretty accurate. At the end of the day it is coming down to allocations per dealer now and having parts for what orders the can build. I know when I ordered mine in 2021 I didn’t have the 2.7 or sas. But ended up adding that and dropping the mic and it got picked up in less than two weeks.

To repeat other posters comments, it's definitely worth the wait.

I have previously owned an FJ Cruiser and a 2DR Rubicon and I have not taken my Badlands 4 wheeling yet. Both of these vehicles fall way short of the fun factor of the Bronco as a daily driver.

I have a 2.7 and this vehicle is like a 4WD sports car on the road. Think water bug with respects to agility. I've taken only my front panels off on the few warmer days here in Denver and it's a good thing my windows are tinted because I have a huge shit eating grin driving this truck. I can't wait to go full topless.

If the top didn't squeak I could find no faults. Be patient....it's worth it.

It's becoming beyond ridiculous. I am getting old. I was a young man when I reserved my 2 door Bronco - 7/20/20 - now I am 65. The entire process is a slap in the face from Ford. First it was hard tops.. that issue seems to be taken care of. Then it was chips - and we all know that 4 doors and Raptors use less chips than a 2 door, right?! I really thought I was going to own a Bronco, but it appears more & more to be just a fantasy.
The way I look at it, when I get my 2 door it'll be hybrid or electric. 🤷‍♂️
