I downloaded the file and ran a Windows Defender scan on the file, no threats were found. 7zip has long been my goto for large file management.

Never opened the file yet, just scanned it. If you're brave, open it on an old computer so you can reset if necessary.

Not so much worried about first post, someone is just trying to hide the source of the file, as would be expected by a leak.

yeah if you open the file in a text editor like notepad++ you can see the file garbage. Compare it to the other file in that directory to see what it should look like.
