It snowed in Portland last night so I took mine out to see how it handled in the white stuff. It def handled differently in “normal” vs “slippery” mode but still felt stable in both. I also tried out the crawler gear going downhill in the snow. It kept the speed to 4-5 mph without touching the gas or brakes.

After teasing me for six months, she finally decided to take all of her clothes off instead of just the top:

On the drivers side I came down a rock hard and the front of the slider is now closer to the body. So when looking at the slider you can see that is not level to the body. The bracket probably bent upwards. That is the only impact that I have noticed so far have not really been under to check it out completely.

I ask because I have a set on. After I installed them I am questioning some of their design. Particularly the thin gusset on the bracket being install on the exterior of the bend. It’s too thin and the weld is lazy. Otherwise, it’s a great design/quality overall on the tube work.

there’s plenty of room on the inside of that bend to put a gusset. Thicker metal and won’t leave these things to get caught on obstructions. At some point I’m going to cut/grind them off and redo the gusset. But I shouldn’t have to.

I had a busy day today as I installed stickerfab.com front glow in the dark letters. Then I installed fog lights in my standard bumper and last but not least a pair of Trux ditch lights.

I like the matching blue...and the glow-in-the-dark...I've got to get them to match my Velocity Blue!!
