Dealer effed up my order

My dealership effed up my order.

What I ordered was a decked out Lux package Wildtrak with a black painted hard top.

Painted hard top was not available, so I got a call and was talked into the MIC roof like many of you were. When my dealership switched the roof, they removed the Lux package, tow package and other accessories from my Bronco without notification. Did not notice until my window sticker was available, which was too late.

My bronco will be delivered in the next week or so. Just really disappointed that mistake was made and now I can't even put an order in for the original one I ordered. I plan on keeping the bronco, but also ordering what I wanted .... Eventually

So after you changed the top, the dealer didn't make you sign off on a final build sheet? My dealer made me physically sign the build sheet before the order was submitted. They definitely dropped the ball OR he did it on purpose. Several reasons they would do that of course.

Yeah exactly what GravyTrain said. my dealer made me review the the build sheet to make sure it was accurate before he submitted the order to Ford.

Dealer is about an hour away and I did it all over the phone/email. All of the documents that I have are in this post. I did not sign off on it that I remember. Dealer said they had a change in the office and this happened to a 4 other people with Bronco orders from Bozard in St Augustine FL

Maybe it can't hurt to see if this dealer would be willing to take this mis-ordered vehicle that they screwed up and sell it to someone off the street for a hefty markup, in exchange for some kind of guarantee to see if they can (if possible) expedite another build for you? I've been wondering about the priority numbers on the build sheets that are lower than 19.. The lowest my dealer was able to enter was 11, and that may have been the reason I got mine second in line out of any other of this dealer's orders (including with the then constraints of MIC, lux, and tow).

Not even a mid package on that Wildtrak, hell to the no. 8” screen? No heated seats, no upper level safety systems, etc. Might as well order a basesquatch and save another $6-8K.

Thanks for clarifying. Still though, no high package makes me wonder why this Wildtrak would be better than a 2.7L SAS lower trim.
