The grey isn’t painted, looks plastic.

I’m aware the gray isn’t painted. It may “look plastic” like those cheap ass avalanche parts, but I’d be willing to bet they’re made of a higher quality material. Having had numerous Jeeps with hard tops, they didn’t fade so why would Ford’s tops be garbage?

Just scary. I guess if it does fade it can always be painted.

I get that and they can definitely be painted to match or a nice black or white.

I’m not concerned though. I guarantee they examined jeep tops and made sure they’re on equal footing for quality.

I was really hoping for a plastic hard top that actually matches the car for one reason. I live in a Texas so depending on how long I own this Bronco, the odds that I get hailed on are 100%. I would think the plastic hard top would hold up better to the elements but if it doesn’t match the window trim directly below it I will have to get the painted black top against my will. Sad.

I'm sure the guys at ford are trying hard to give us a good product but we will only really know how it lasts once they're out in the sun.

I hope the top won't fade, but in the sun just about everything fades with time

I may end up wrapping it in matte black or white if we're stuck with grey. Once I figure out what I like with A51.

Gray Hard Top looks good on Darker Colors than Lighter ones.
