Love this forum. Someone posts how happy they are with their purchase and everyone has to 💩 all over it.

The only significant difference between a 2.7, lux, Sasquatch OBX and a lux, WildTrak with HOSS 2.0 is the interior colors. Of course, if you have to have the WildTrak interior colors, then this is enough to justify your choice. ;)

I would have been every bit as enthusiastic about taking that dirt road in my non-sasquatch OBX. Also, I think that I might have been tempted to use the adaptive cruise control, but I don't think that it would have saved me from any deer - lol.
What really stands out to me the most about all of this is that the internal name for Badlands was plainly “Capable”. The “Rock Monster” name was for the Black Diamond. And as I’ve stated elsewhere the Wildtrak was an intentional up-built Outer Banks. It was supposed to be more than the 2021 and early 2022 models got but that’s almost fully caught up now with the HOSS 3.0 package.

Damn..........pretty dog. Reminds me of my Wolf/Hybrid that I had...........wow!
Thanks!!! Meet Wicket... a 2 year old, long haired, German Shepherd. The downside is she's pretty and she knows it... and it went straight to her head. Total diva!

She got her name because as a pup she looked like an Ewok from Star Wars. Was so small when we got her she actually slept the three hour drive home on top of the center console of my Raptor.

No boasting intended, just saying bombing down a dirt road ain't exactly asking a lot of any trim.
It is at 60+ mph…..and you will notice a difference in Baja mode, and you’ll notice all that steel bash plate, and steel bumpers ain’t gonna help you in in a BL, or BD, and you’ll notice the difference if you have smaller tires without the Sasquatch tires and suspension. You’ll notice the difference in a 2.3, and the 7sp, MT.
You can add Sas,10sp Auto, and the V6 to any trim, but you can’t buy a lesser version of the WT like all other trims come with.
Any trim can drive down a dirt road, but it’s how it’s able to be driven that will make a difference.
Forscan, can add RC, Sport, and Baja, but that seems hit or miss with all kinds licensing issues and errors.
And once the Hoss 3.0 is added, you’ll see a difference between a MY22 WT and a MY22.5 WT.

I love the Wildtrack minus the interior, the rear bumper, the black wheels and the extra 5K over my 2.7 Sas Black Diamond.

Hey, thanks for sharing! I enjoy reading other people's experiences.
Unrelated, is there a subforum dedicated to each trim level so we can not compare penis size but rather just praise each other for having one or knowing someone that does?

That’s odd. I just built a 2dr BD, with 2.7 auto, Sas, Mid pkg and mod bumper (so we can try and compare apples to apples) and it came out to $50,295.
A 2dr WT with the Mod bumper and everything else standard came out to
$52,100…a difference of $1,805.
With the BD you also get Sliders MGV seats and rubber floors.
With the WT you get Digicam cloth seats, carpet, and blacked out appearance pkg, and hood cowl graphic.
So, basically it comes down to $1,800 and which appearance and interior materials/colors you like better
Since I love the looks of the WT inside and out…..that’s $1800 well spent. Good thing we have individual preferences and choices.

Edit: Oh, and with the WT you get 7 GOAT modes. Is the BD 6?

I know right? It’s not like WT or OBX owners invade the BL threads and start harping on Halloween orange stitching and grab handles, hideous warm alloy beauty (not) rings, the unattractive washed out looking gray grill, dingy rubber floors that never look clean, ass scorching MGV seats, sticker that resembles a vagina, lack of Sport Mode, spindly little tie rods, steering rack and inferior Hoss 2.0 Suspension.
Good thing I’m only kidding….or am I?
