Ummm, how does undesirability today result in desirability in the future? I ask this question with VB set for production this week. I bought it for me, not for anybody else, or for resale. If it’s rare, cool, but I doubt it will add value. I really like electric lime green for the wrangler TJ. Very hard to find. But when I did, no difference in price.

I also bought my VB Badlands because It's my favorite color and I won't be selling this rig ever. But I can say that in the Toyota world where I come from, rare (less desirable when new) do fetch a higher price now, 20 years later. But my real point is really the same as yours, though I don't know how anyone could ever say Velocity Blue is undesirable.

I've been drooling over all the great looking rigs here. My VB is waiting to be built. What contrasting color do you think looks great with VB? or does it even matter, black, white, orange, red, etc. While waiting I am thinking of an accent color. I'm not looking for it to flash "look at me!!!" I prefer something more subtle. Thanks!

Anyone worried that VB won't be a 2023 color? And not not the "it might be, or it might not be" type stance. Do you guys feel the take rate is low enough across all sharing models that it might go away?

Atlas blue is boring. I dont mind if they get rid of VB though since I already have mine!

Agreed, I was surprised to see Velocity Blue make it to 2022 models. I thought for sure Atlas Blue was going to take over then. I do see it leaving for 2023 for sure it is already gone from every other model.

Hey guys I realized I never posted in the VB thread. It’s nice to be in the company of so many others with excellent taste in automotive colors!

here’s my bronco from 1/3 build week. Nothing crazy, just rider stripes, retro badges blacked out ford emblem and bronco tailgate emblem. And I bought black beauty rings to replace the warm alloy stock ones. I don’t plan on doing much else, was going to paint the flares body color but now I’m in no rush.

Adding my Bronco to this awesome thread! I took delivery about 3 weeks ago, and have added the following:
- Mabett hood struts
- gearshade Bimini top
- stickerfab accents inside
- screen protector
And today had a shop add my ridergraphix carbon fiber stripes, glossy black retro badging, and carbon fiber Ford emblem! I still have to wire in my Oracle grill lights (and fogs when I finally get those). But I’m super happy with how it’s turning out! They Bronqo looks good! seems you have pretty similar build to my Badlands that I'm still wait on a build date Do you a have a few more pictures to share! What do you think so far with the box on top on your travels etc... Hoping in the next few production cycles I'll finally get a production date. My reservation was in the first 16 hours...

It’s great having all the extra space for bulky stuff like sleeping bags/pads/pillows. Surprisingly the box doesn’t impact fuel economy that much. And I barely know it’s there when driving.

My VB OBX SAS is on a train about two weeks away, from Detroit to Tempe. VB looks sooo good in our sunshine and up against the desert landscapes and big sky. Where in AZ?
