Yessir. That’s a 2018, Limited, f-150 with navy pier interior... horrendous.
lol, holy crap...so nobody bought that in the F150 so they're using up their leftovers in the first addition? ...not funny, sorry guys. It's not cool.

Like someone else mentioned... I think we're at the Acceptance level of grief. The fact that I can downgrade to a Badlands, choose my interior and exterior color, and get literally everything a First Edition has minus some decals and a boot screen... Meh. Better than paying to reupholster my First Edition.

So, Shadow Black or Carbonized Gray exterior, black leather-trimmed interior, and literally every possible option for me will likely come close to the same price as the FE, but even it's more, you can't put a price on happiness of getting exactly what you want.

I honestly don't hate the idea of each trim having its own interior. One thing that makes them all unique. We obviously dont know if this is actually the case but still

I mean, Katzkin will solve the seat issue, but the door panels, surrounds and dash trim are going to need some Feibings.

Turned a heated wheel in Cocoa Dune to Black with this stuff. Works on plastic, but don't let alcohol wipes or anything containing alcohol touch it for quite a while. It re-solubilizes the dye.

I just want to point out how BOLD the language is when talking about the First Edition. They're hyping it up like it's the literal greatest thing they can make and will be the envy of all.

The fact that we have shown resilience in working our asses off in getting the First Edition on reservation day, struggled through the site crashing, even after waiting for years for this vehicle to come out...

They return our patience and diligence by limiting our options. They're giving us one option. And the one option they're giving us, the most devoted fans, we don't even want. So the only "regret" they speak of will go to the owners, not the ones that DIDN'T get them. We'll be the ones with "envy" because we didn't get to choose what we wanted, despite the Bronco being advertised left and right in a "fully customizable" way. But not for the ones that are paying the most and worked the hardest.

Just.... FFS. @mike_at_ford . I'm tagging you, man. Do right by us. We're your largest brand advocates. Don't do us dirty like this. I've got too many years of experience in advertising, brand, design, and seen this rollout go so well and have been singing your praises... But if the final, highest trim falls flat, it'll all be for nothing.

They can have any color they want as long as its Navy Pier. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Thanks Henry............

And the rest of us get black vinyl or leather in one of the most expensive trims, the Badlands. Have none of the Ford people ever visited California, Texas, Florida or any hot state in between? With not even perf holes for circulation, give them five minutes in the Texas heat and humidity in the summer and they will understand. We need perf and cooling fans or the option to select cloth interior for the Badlands.

I'm now looking for aftermarket seat covers to completly remove and replace the factory ones.
So most people do not know this, but California's Death Valley (yep they named it right) holds the record for hottest place on earth (134 degrees back in 1913). not the middle east or North Africa, and as of today, it broke the August record at 130 degrees. so can you give us some appropriate equipment, Ford????? My f-150 has the pano roof because evryone said to buy it. In California it is not worth the cost, it turns the cabin into a greenhouse. Many of these new Broncos will be in unforgiving weather environments, consideration should be given to interior ventilation. Help us out Ford.

Ford needs to change their FE description. Should read: If you happen to see one taking on the Wild in some far off adventure. Its ok to feel sorry for the FE owners that got stuck with our ugly Blue interior and have absolutely no regets that you weren't able to get one.

I just don't get how Ford can take such a special launch vehicle that any Bronco enthusiast would be proud to own and turn it into a frankinstien by putting in such a terrible blue interior, that most Bronco enthusiast would be embarrassed to own.
(As a true Bronco enthusiasts, I really hope your listening Ford)

What are the chances it's the alcantara seats in the 19+ raptors? I'm willing to be very slim. I didn't love them, but it would be better than the navy pier flooding this thread. Just trying to remain positive.

Thanks, never heard of "alcantara" until now, found this:
Alcantara is a synthetic suede product that rapidly became a go-to interior material for performance and luxury-oriented auto brands

Many enjoy Alcantara’s smooth feel on the steering wheel, sporty yet luxurious good looks, and appreciate that it doesn’t get as hot as leather does in the summer sun (nor as cold in the winter).

Others are more critical, decrying the material for being too sensitive to the oils of human skin and difficult to clean. Another unfortunate aspect is that being touched can make it appear mottled or unsmooth. Regular, proper cleaning should help to alleviate these issues (most of the time).
